Too often, Catholic parishes become "cliques" where only certain people are welcome and only certain people are permitted to participate in ministry.<BR/><BR/>This isn't an attitude of love. This is an attitude of cold-hearted pride and arrogance.<BR/><BR/>Vatican II is right. If we don't persevere in charity, if we exclude others who we deem "unworthy," if we take pride in ourselves as if we were somehow "superior" to those around us, not only will we not be saved, we are actually damning ourselves to Hell.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
