Sadly, most spurn His mercy and refuse to reconcile with Him and His Church. But the day will come (and no one knows that day or hour) when death will suddenly arrive and it will be too late for repentance.

Eeryone should strive to live in God's grace at all times and to appeal to His mercy while they still have the chance.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9695096.post-69018533225358107632008-03-06T12:01:00.000-08:002008-03-06T12:01:00.000-08:00I need to be much more mindful of the chaplet of D...I need to be much more mindful of the chaplet of Divine Mercy. I thank the Lord every year and am exceedingly grateful for the Feast of Divine Mercy. And since Jesus told Faustina that He was calling people to embrace His Mercy before His Second Coming, I think we should all take this very seriously. Faustina has been raised to the altars of the Church. And her writings approved by the Church. Yet we hear little or nothing about the Divine Mercy in our parishes or the need for reconciliation, a need which was stressed by Our Lady of La Salette. What a tremendous gift to the Church Karol Wojtyla was. Thanks to him, we have a new Catechism to teach, correct and reprove, the Church's true teaching contained in one volume.

In my view, we are in the last times before the Second Coming. Have we ever seen such wide-spread apostasy in the developed nations before. No. The Christian West is dying. But our true home is in Heaven. We await, as the Word says, a new heavens and a new earth where righteousness is at home.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
