The persecution intensifies:

I have said it so many times before and will say it again: the New Order, the New Church being created in the image and likeness of man, will not tolerate any dissent regarding the acceptance of homosexual acts. Those of us who take a stand against homosexual acts will eventually be imprisoned, forced to undergo "re-education" and "sensitivity training," or simply eliminated.
The New Order will not tolerate opposition to homosexual acts from orthodox Christians, Jews, Muslims and others of good will who accept God's plan for humanity and His Commandments.
Those articles are positively chilling Paul. Things are really heating up now that's for sure. All Christians need to pray as never before.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the time is short now. You can feel something in the air. There are dark clouds on the horizon. I am beginning to wonder exactly how much time we have left.
ReplyDeletePaul, it's getting frightening out there isn't it? Catholics faithful to the Magisterium should begin preparing themselves in earnest for outright persecution...I mean honestly, at the rate things are speeding up, it's only a matter of time before acts of violence against faithful Christians are not only tolerated but sanctioned by the State.
ReplyDeleteBut...how would it come to the U.S? I'm not saying it won't...but how would it come here? We have freedom of religion in the Constitution and this would have to be suspended in order for open persecution (sanctioned by the state) to happen. Anti-hate laws would not supercede the Constitution, in fact would violate it. I'm just wondering how this type of persecution would come here. Gov't overthrow? Totalitarian gov't?
ReplyDeleteWe no longer live in a Republic Sanctus Belle. Your question is a legitimate one, and a good one. Robert H. Bork provides the answer: "We are no longer free to make our own fundamental moral and cultural decisions because the Court oversees all such matters, when and as it chooses. The crisis of legitimacy occurs because the political nation hs no way of responding. The Founders built into our government a system of checks and balances, carefully giving to the national legislature and the executive powers to check each other so as to avoid either executive or legislative tyranny. The Founders had no idea that a Court armed with a written Constitution and the power of judicial review could become not only the supreme legislature of the land but a legislature beyond reach of the ballot box. Thinking of the Court as a minor institution, they provided no safeguards against its assumption of powers not legitimately its own and its consistent abuse of those powers. Congress and the President check and balance one another, but neither of them can stop the Court's adventures in making and enforcing left-wing policy." (Slouching Towards Gomorrah: Modern Liberalism and American Decline, p. 109).
ReplyDeleteRoe v. Wade was one such example of judicial fabrication. The Court said that the "right to privacy," wherever it may be found in the Constitution (the Court wasn't certain) is broad enough to encompass a woman killing her unborn child.
The Constitution doesn't have to be suspended by advocates of the New Order for persecution to flourish in the United States. It has only to be reinterpreted and twisted in its meaning and intent.
