In an article which may be found at the website of the anti-Semitic Saint Benedict Center cult (Richmond, New Hampshire), author Gary Potter writes:
"There are Traditional Catholics who rightly understand that much that commonly is said of Germany in the years 1933-45 has the Zionist enterprise behind the saying, but they have let their understanding obscure the reality of the Nazi regime's evil. Some wind up denying it; they become "revisionists." Revisionism is far from wrong in some of its particulars, but the regime was evil, and on many scores. One that is completely irrelevant to this article is the whole question of the so-called Holocaust. We are not going to get into it." (Source: http://www.catholicism.org/july-twentieth-1944.html).
The so-called Holocaust? Much of our understanding of Germany in the years 1933-1945 is the result of "Zionist enterprise"? Really? Once again I invite my readers to visit the website of The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum: http://www.ushmm.org/
Louis Villarrubia refused to answer Mary Richardson on Chronicle when she asked him if he believed in the reality of the Holocaust. Instead he responded that he was not a historian and couldn't remark on the "subtleties" of the Shoah. But if he does not in fact deny the Holocaust, why would he - as "Prior" of the Saint Benedict Center - allow the organization's website to carry an article which refers to the slaughter of six-million Jewish people as the "so-called Holocaust" and which attributes our understanding of this horror as being the result of "Zionist enterprise"?

The photo above is taken from: http://www.shamash.org and is a scene of horror at the extermination camp of Maidanek: possibly in a desperate attempt to cover their tracks, the SS burned corpses of victims.
So Gary Potter is a Holocaust-denier as well. His remarks are both hateful and reminiscent of Neo-Nazi propaganda. Mr. Potter is obviously an anti-semite who wants to re-write history to fit with his anti-semitic agenda. What a tragedy. And you're right. Louis Villarrubia must have published this anti-semitic article because he denies the Holocaust.
ReplyDeleteIs this what's being taught at the SBC school? Where is the State of New Hampshire? Or don't State officials care whether or not children are being taught this drivel? I can't help but wonder if this means that anti-semitism is tolerated, at least at some level, by the State of New Hampshire.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Paul for continuing to bring this important information out to the forefront!! Where is the shame from not only the SBC members but most importantly their leaders??
ReplyDeleteMr. Potter is no better than Louis Villarrubia. His denial of the Holocaust makes me think that there must be a rather extensive network of anti-semitic "traditional Catholics" throughout the United States. The question is: just how many "traditional Catholics" deny the Holocaust and spread ideas such as the Jews being the Synagogue of Satan"?
ReplyDeleteI have always enjoyed La Salette Journey tremendously. I visited the Blog SBC Watch for the first time yesterday after learning about it through this Blog. I enjoyed the fair and objective posts on the SBC. I think SBC Watch should solicit donations for the purpose of exposing the SBC hate group. Sort of an education fund. Keep up the wonderful work of exposing hatred in NH. I will be praying for your efforts.
ReplyDeleteHave law enforcement officials initiated an investigation into the SBC? Does anyone know?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, 4:33pm. Any suggestions on how to go about that would be appreciated. We are trying to leave no stone unturned, therefore, any and all help is needed.

ReplyDeleteMax, raising money under false pretenses is a crime. There was a woman from Massachusetts last year who was telling people she had cancer in order to solicit donations from them. She was prosecuted when it was discovered that she was engaging in fraud. "Brother" Andre Marie and his group have done the same thing. They tell people that their Catholic to raise monies. They avoid taxes by telling the IRS - and the State - that they are an exempt organization because they are Catholic. And yet, the Diocese says their not.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't local law enforcement and possibly the AG's Office be made aware of all of this?
With so many hate groups in and around Cheshire County, you have to wonder whether or not they are all connected somehow. Is there any information on this? Is Richmond becoming Neo-Nazi?
