I received threats against my person at this Blog and was attacked and slandered publically by Stormfront, one of the most prominent hate groups in this country. I was referred to as a "Jew-loving sh..bag," "an Ayn Rand capitalist materialist," and the "village communist." I never could figure out just how I could be a capitalist materialist and a communist at the same time. But then, logic isn't exactly a strong suit at Stormfront or any other hate group for that matter.

I am proud to stand with my Jewish brothers and sisters. And just as threats will not intimidate me from promoting and defending the Magisterial teaching of Christ's Church, so too I will not back down in fear when it comes to defending my elder brothers and sisters* in the Jewish Community.

I would like to know what the FBI was doing at the Saint Benedict Center. I'd also like to know what NH State Troopers were doing there. This was reported at SBC Watch. Will this be commented on when the episode is aired for a second time?

And what of the SBC's assertion that Louis Villarrubia is an ordained Deacon?

This story continues to get more and more bizarre.

Roger...I'd like some answers as well. Could this have anything to do with the school there? Or perhaps the SBC claim to be Catholic on its tax exemption application?

I wonder if law enforcement authorities will be issuing a report on the SBC anytime soon.

Someone was saying that Louis Villarrubia was claiming that he invited the FBI to the SBC compound. Did he really claim that? If so, are we supposed to believe that? And the New Hampshire State Troopers, did he "invite" them as well? If he is really claiming that he invited law enforcement to the compound, it would seem that he attempting damage control by putting his own "spin" on things.

Does anyone know any more about these visits from law enforcement authorities to the compound?

Thank you for the notice of the Chronicle story. I am telling all of my friends and we will be taping it for our church. We have been working to improve Catholic-Jewish relations and this will be a real help. You are to be commended for your efforts at exposing this anti-semitism. Hopefully, with the Lord's help, we can move beyond this sort of ignorance in our society.

Peace be to you Mr. Melanson.

"I was a stranger and you welcomed me." (Matthew 25:35). There are many Catholics who refuse to welcome the stranger. Whether that stranger is an immigrant or just someone who belongs to another ethnic group. Sometimes the stranger is another Catholic who has just joined a parish and who is prevented from participating in the life of the parish because he or she isn't considered to belong.

But such attitudes are sinful. When we exclude others for sinful reasons, we ignore Jesus' command to welcome the stranger.

Do you like to be welcomed? Then be welcoming.

I watched Chronicle tonight and the story on the Saint Benedict Center was riveting. Fantastic job exposing this dangerous group. I have friends in the Boston Jewish community. I plan on telling them about your blog.
