For unless the apostasy comes first....

In 2 Thessalonians 2: 3-8, the Holy Spirit tells us through St. Paul, "Let no one deceive you in any way. For unless the apostasy comes first and the lawless one is revealed, the one doomed to perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god and object of worship, so as to seat himself in the temple of God, claiming that he is a god - do you not recall that while I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. But the one who restrains is to do so only for the present, until he is removed from the scene. And then the lawless one will be revealed.."

By clicking on the title to this post, you will be taken to an article which describes how more than 100,000 Britons have downloaded "certificates of de-baptism" to renounce their Christian faith. The mystery of lawlessness is being revealed. Men seeks to build a godless world, a secular paradise where man is glorified in place of God. The Antichrist will incarnate this spirit of rebellion.

Not only is atheism spreading everywhere, but the hatred directed at Catholics and other Christians is exploding. Richard Dawkins, during a speech given at the University of Valencia where he was invested honoris causa, said: "The Pope is either stupid, ignorant or wicked." When I read this, I immediately thought of a prior post here at this Blog where you said that Catholics and other Christians would have to be put in a "Ghetto" much as the Jewish people were during the Second World War at the hands of the Nazis.

    Your Blog is prophetic.

And yet, the "all is well" crowd continue to turn a blind eye to it all while insisting that remnant Catholics who are raising the alarm are "crazy," "misguided," "alarmists," or are simply "delusional."

Some people prefer darkness to light and falsehood to truth. Far more comforting psychologically to believe the lie that nothing has changed and all is well.

Ostriches aren't alone in burying their heads in the sand.

  3. Michelle, the website Typically Spanish covered the speech:

Richard Dawkins attacks the Pope in Valencia

The British Scientist has been invested Honoris Causa by Valencia University

British scientist, Richard Dawkins, has caused a stir after being invested Honoris Causa in Valencia, where he used his speech to attack the Pope.

Following the pontiff’s comments in Africa that condoms were not the solution to aids, but they actually made the problem worse, Dawkins declared that the Pope is either ‘stupid, ignorant or dim’. He asked on what basis can such a statement be made, and said that if people took the Pope’s words seriously he would have the death of thousands of people on his hands,
‘It may even be millions’, he added.

Dawkins declares himself as an atheist, humanist and sceptic and supports the ‘God probably does not exist’ campaign seen on the buses. He lamented that society accepts that we can speak absolutely openly about everything, except religion. He said the church had built walls around it for centuries but meanwhile insults others ‘in a double standard which we cannot continue to tolerate’.

Dawkins said he was very happy that Barack Obama had overturned the prohibition on stem cell research which he described as being of grand medical importance.

Born Orthodox, raised Anglican, and having come to Catholicism through the mystery of conversion at age 33, I am in deep shock at the atrocities which are now openly being committed in the name of "progress and secular humanism". It is indeed frightening on one level, yet I also know that we are being called as Catholics, and as Christians, to be those lamps, the lingering lights of hope for the entire world as it is seduced by darkness. The night is fast approaching, and we must ready ourselves in every way that we are able. I am very thankful for this site, Mark Mallett's work, and others like it.
They are pieces of the Rock of glimmering Truth in a vast sea of uncleanliness which has poisoned the collective's ability to think and reason...indeed they do not understand where such "progress" is headed. There is a site called Vigilant Citizen authored by a Catholic man who is meticulously abreast of the nefarious plots of the darkened ones in the process of de-humanizing the entire world population. I encourage research, not to frighten, but to inform.

    God Bless you,
    Pax Christos,
    Daphne
