Our culture is gradually leaving the twilight. The Man of Sin is about to reveal himself. Our Lady told Father Gobbi on May 13, 1994, that: "...the message which I have given you at Fatima and against which my Adversary has thrown himself in fury, but which will now appear in all its extraordinary importance for the Church and for all humanity. It is an apocalyptic message. It has regard to the end of times. It announces and prepares for the return of my Son Jesus in glory - Upon this humanity which has again become pagan, enveloped in the coldness of the denial of God and of rebellion against his Law of love, corrupted by sin and evil, and over whom Satan reigns as a sure victor, I am causing the rays of love and of light from my Immaculate Heart to come down. They shed light for you upon the way along which you must travel, to return to God along the road of conversion, of prayer and of penance. Thus my Immaculate Heart becomes today the sure means of salvation for all this humanity..."
Those who reject the Lord Jesus and His Law of love are gradually succumbing to spiritual and moral blindness. Even many of those whose vocation is to speak the truth of the Gospel have become mute. Where is the outrage at sin? Where is the thunder of truth? Thanks be to God, we can still hear the entire truth from Peter's successor. But many other shepherds have chosen to genuflect to the culture.
Watch and pray. That your faith may not be shaken. Consecrate yourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Visit my sister's blog [Our Lady's Tears, the link to which may be found on the sidebar of this Blog] and take refuge in the Immaculata. Listen to the Holy Father. Do not let his voice be drowned out by the pagan culture or the wolves which have slipped into the sheepfold.

I registered my objection to this affiliation. We Catholics are supposed to be a people of life. The faith of Catholics in New Hampshire is indeed in twilight. We are witnessing a collapse of the faith here. May God have mercy on us all.

It's not "a healthier tomorrow" which is being delivered to us, but a paganized one. The Church is gradually abandoning the unchangeable truth (see 2271 of the Catechism) that abortion is "an unspeakable crime."

Which is precisely why Senator Edward Kennedy, who supported the culture of death for some 38 years, was lauded during a very public Catholic funeral and while he was referred to as "our brother and friend," orthodx Christians who found the whole affair to be scandalous were called "angry," "hateful," and "judgmental." And even worse.

Expect this persecution to worsen. Soon every Catholic who opposes abortion and homosexuality and other societal evils will be officially labelled as "Domestic Terrorists" and ostracized even within the Church.

Read this from the website which discusses the "affiliation":

Impact on Ethical and Religious Directives
Q: What are CMCHS’ policies with regard to those issues that fall under the ethical tenets of the Catholic Church regarding hospital operations (e.g., terminations of pregnancy, scope of the policy as it relates to victims of rape or persons suffering extra uterine pregnancies, family planning counseling and elective sterilization procedures)?

A: Both a review of canon law and compliance with the Ethical and Religious Directives of the Roman Catholic Church are important parts of understanding the full relationship between both organizations. CMCHS and its affiliates will continue to comply with the canon law and the Ethical and Religious Directives of the Roman Catholic Church.

Q: Does Dartmouth-Hitchcock Manchester perform abortion services?

A: Pregnancy terminations are not performed at Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Manchester and Bedford facilities in accordance with a long-standing practice. Clinical discussions about other procedures will continue to be made in the best interest of the patient, based on the unique medical needs of each patient’s case, and under a shared decision-making model that makes patients full partners in their healthcare decisions.

Q: What is the status of the review by the Bishop of Manchester?

A: The Affiliation Agreement will be reviewed and approved by the Bishop of Manchester. He has provided CMCHS with conditional approval to proceed with filing to the Attorney General’s Office.

Although abortions will not be performed in Manchester and Bedford, abortion services and counseling WILL BE PROVIDED.

And the Bishop has approved of this?

    Dear God.

This keeps coming up again and again. The Union Leader has led battles in the past over this issue but the pro-abortion forces keep returning. I think the Church in New Hampshire lacks the resolve to be fully pro-life. It is a sign that the faith here is dying.
