The Kennedy/Coakley political machine would have us believe that the vacant seat in the U.S. Senate is somehow the "Kennedy Seat." There seems to be a sense of entitlement. But Republican Scott Brown is right. It's the people's seat.
"As our president bears no resemblance to a king so we shall see the Senate has no similitude to nobles. First, not being hereditary, their collective knowledge, wisdom, and virtue are not precarious. For by these qualities alone are they to obtain their offices, and they will have none of the peculiar qualities and vices of those men who possess power merely because their father held it before them."

As Jeff Jacoby notes, "Coakley is an EMILY’s List prochoice hard-liner; Brown condemns partial-birth abortion and is backed by Massachusetts Citizens for Life.."
ReplyDeleteIf you are truly pro-life, you will not vote for Martha Coakley.
The radical homosexual movement is already touting Coakley as the "next Senator Kennedy" because of her promotion of same-sex marriage and her commitment toward undermining the traditional family.

Martha Coakley is well-known throughout the homosexual hate movement as "a fierce LGBT ally." Her hatred for traditional values and her commitment to undermine traditional marriage are bad enough. Add to this her commitment toward waging a war against the innocent unborn and it becomes clear that Coakley will simply be another Kennedy. She is also a tax and spend liberal who wants to treat this countries enemies (terrorists bent on destroying this nation) as simply "criminals" who deserve the same Constitutional protections as the citizenry of this country. A Coakley win would be a disaster. Choose life. Choose to protect the traditional family. Say no to Coakley and her agenda.
ReplyDeleteVote Libertarian, then the seat will be occupied by another Kennedy.

ReplyDeleteThe name recognition surely can’t hurt, but Joe Kennedy, a high-tech whiz kid who plans to become the next junior U.S. senator from Massachusetts, hopes to win voters over on his own.
Joseph L. Kennedy, 37, of Dedham, a member of the National Libertarian Party collecting signatures to run as an independent, has established a Web site: JoeKennedyforSenate.com. He is not to be confused with Joseph P. Kennedy II, 57, whose decision not to run for his late uncle Edward M. Kennedy’s Senate seat left the famous family’s faithful wistful.
“I wouldn’t say I’m ‘politically active,’ but you can’t sit around and complain all the time and do nothing about it,” said the lesser-known Kennedy, a bachelor and 1993 Clark University graduate.
He sees himself as the choice for voters fed up with wealthy Democrats and Republicans fighting with each other, while ignoring the common folk who put them in power.
“Unless you are a person who is being negatively affected by what’s going on in society, you don’t have a full grasp of the issues,” he said.
Here’s his take on hot-button debates:
• Healthcare reform: Opposes it as presently proposed.
• The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan:“We need to get out of both of them.”
• Abortion: “I’m pro-choice.”
• Immigration: “They have to give back to the society they’re living in. We’ve got to stop giving away stuff for free.”
• Same-sex marriage: Believes this to be a decision best left to individual religions.
Kennedy sees his greatest obstacle as “party,” not any one candidate.
