From the Synod: Accept and value a tendency toward moral evil?

In an Instruction entitled "Some Considerations Concerning The Response To Legislative Proposals On The Non-Discrimination Of Homosexual Persons," issued on July 22, 1992, the CDF had this to say: "'Sexual orientation' does not constitute a quality comparable to race, ethnic background, etc. in respect to non-discrimination. Unlike these, homosexual orientation is an objective disorder and evokes moral concern." (No. 10). And again: "Including 'homosexual orientation' among the considerations on the basis of which it is illegal to discriminate can easily lead to regarding homosexuality as a positive source of human rights, for example, in respect to so-called affirmative action or preferential treatment in hiring practices. This is all the more deleterious since there is no right to homosexuality which therefore should not form the basis for judicial claims. The passage from the recognition of homosexuality as a factor on which basis it is illegal to discriminate can easily lead, if not automatically, to the legislative protection and promotion of homosexuality. A person's homosexuality would be invoked in opposition to alleged discrimination, and thus the exercise of rights would be defended precisely via the affirmation of the homosexual condition instead of in terms of a violation of basic human rights." (No. 13).

From the Synod:

“Relatio post disceptationem” of the General Rapporteur, Card. Péter Erdő, 13.10.2014

No. 50:

"Homosexuals have gifts and qualities to offer to the Christian community: are we capable of welcoming these people, guaranteeing to them a fraternal space in our communities? Often they wish to encounter a Church that offers them a welcoming home. Are our communities capable of providing that, accepting and valuing their sexual orientation, without compromising Catholic doctrine on the family and matrimony?"

The Synod is calling on Catholics to "accept and value" an orientation which is, according to Magisterial teaching based on Divine Revelation, "intrinsically disordered."

It is one thing to ask Catholics to accept and value the homosexual person.  It is quite another thing to ask that we accept and value that which is a tendency toward moral evil.

Pray for Rome.  Pray for the entire Church.  The Diabolical Disorientation spreads.

It goes from bad to worse! Still, this can't go on for ever. In the meantime, let's make sure our own lamps are in order.

    1. Of course Peter. I confess frequently (usually with 2 or 3 others since most of the parish never sins); I consecrated myself every day to the Immaculata and pray the Rosary and Mercy Chaplet everyday. I live a sacramental life and adore Our Eucharistic Jesus every week.

Our Lord never commanded us not to judge. He wants us to judge from a right motive and not out of self-righteousness. This is why He says to remove the plank from our own eyes THEN WE WILL BE ABLE TO SEE CLEARLY and judge correctly.

My house IS in order. Is yours

  2. THE CHURCH IN GETHSEMANE

The Ship of Peter is torn apart
    Martyred in its Holy Teaching
It sinks and sinks, no work of art
    The bottom though never reaching

    Dissidents are screaming loud
    Leaving behind an awful niff
    Pretending to be proudly stout
Gearing the Ship into a cliff

    Jesus shows His wounded Heart
    Smitten with a deadly dart
    Peter the Rock in desolation
    Deploring severe desecration

    Wake up, you Christian Brother
    Show now your truthful face
    With Mary our Heavenly Mother
    We'll reach that Peaceful Place

In allegiance to the Holy Father
    United in prayer and fasting
No victory will claim, but rather
    Satan's defeat be everlasting.

  3. " De Kerk in Gethsemani "

Het schip van Petrus scheurt en kraakt
    gemarteld in zijn heilige Leer
tot bijna het de bodem raakt
    zinkt het steeds dieper neer

    Dissidenten treden buiten
    verpesten Rome's lucht
in hun opmars niet te stuiten
    verwerpen Leer en tucht

Doorboord wordt weer het Goddelijk Hart
de Rots van Petrus staat alleen
    gebroken door een grote smart
    verraden door bijna iedereen

    Kom op, gij Christen broeder
    toon nu uw waar gelaat
    met Maria onze Moeder
    bereid de nieuwe dageraad

    Trouw aan onze heilige Vader
    met hem verenigd in gebed
    onze enige, echte levensader
    wordt satan's kop voorgoed verplet

  4. The Church is indeed in Gethsemani. The ship of Peter rips and creaks, tortured as it sinks ever deeper.

    Amen.

  5. In other words : what Rome is saying is that God has to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah for punishing them for a lifestyle that His representatives now deem as compassionate and loving behavior towards the unnatural and ungodly and crazy opinions and life styles of this generation in this present world. Evil is called good and good evil. So you must be blind or excessively stubborn or stupid not to see it.
It's up to us He gave us a free will and He spoke loud and clear about the way we need to live and behave. He wants to be loved freely NOT under pressure !!!

Right. God was not welcoming according to the New Homo dogma. He didn't accept or value the gay orientation and was therefore guilty of homophobia and a hate crime by destroying the five cities of the plain.

    Blasphemy.

It needn't be pointed out that homosexual "unions" (there is no such thing) might be the context for some good things.
There has always been honor among thieves.
    .
What is most telling about this document is what it doesn't say:
    nowhere are the faithful warned of the temporal and eternal consequences of sexual sin;
    nowhere are homosexuals, adulterers, fornicators, or those who commit other sins against Christian marriage called to repentance and conversion;
    nowhere are those in irregular "unions" called to live chastely in order to receive holy communion;
    nowhere are the faithful given the hope of being delivered from their sins and living in a state of grace;
nowhere is the salvation of souls included as a priority.
Clearly, the whole thrust of this document is to weaken the Church's resolve in opposing the forces of modernity in redefining the family, even at the expense of doctrine.
This document must be repudiated by good Catholics everywhere and at every level,
and this train-wreck of a Synod publicly denounced.

CCC: " 675 Before Christ's second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers.
The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the "mystery of iniquity" in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth.
The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh. "
    .
High ranking clergy must never put man above God. But that is what they are doing. Their egos also put themselves above Holy Scripture.

  9. Paul, I wasn't having a go at you. Far from it. I was just reminding myself and your readers of the importance of living a good Sacramental Life. There is a danger for faithful Catholics to fall into anger that is sinful rather than righteous. Believe me, I have often failed in the past but I am trying much harder now. Apologies if you thought it was directed at you, it wasn't.

    O Mary, Daughter of Zion
    Mother of Judah's Lion
bring us, children of Your Tribe,
to Your Son, God's Divine Scribe

    Though being the chosen people
we act as dumbed down sheeple
    if we keep rejecting Him
    our future looks extremely grim

Some of us accepted the Messiah
    after prompts by Jeremiah
    but most descendants of Judea
live as in the times of Hosea

    O Virgin of Israel
bring the ones seduced by Samael
to Jeshua Savior and Son of God
    even "ceaselessly" us do prod.
