To which the Bishop replied:
“It could. It’s a serious violation of his vow of celibacy...But I am not prepared to say that any single action between consenting adults would mean automatic dismissal."
As this excellent article from CWR explains:
"..it has only been in the last 35 years, since the advent of the 1983 Code, that such “consensual adult relationships” among clergy have not been treated as crimes under canon law!
1917 CIC 2359 § 2 stated:
If [clerics] engage in a delict against the sixth precept of the Decalogue with a minor below the age of sixteen, or engage in adultery, debauchery, bestiality, sodomy, pandering, [or] incest with blood-relatives or affines in the first degree, they are suspended, declared infamous, and are deprived of any office, benefice, dignity, responsibility, if they have such, whatsoever, and in more serious cases, they are to be deposed."
Perhaps it's time to revise the Code of Canon Law once again so that these perverted "consensual adult relationships" may once more be deemed crimes under Church Law?

This is why faithful Catholics in the Springfield [Massachusetts] Diocese did not respect the "listening sessions" called for by Bishop Rozanski.

I said from the beginning that Rozanski's listening sessions, with their miniscule amount of allotted time to speak, were a farce, a dog and pony show crafted to make it appear that he and other bishops actually give a damn. But it was, like most things these atheists in shepherd's clothing say and do, a farce.

Just an FYI: As these wayward unfaithful Bishops seem to be everywhere, we have a few and maybe a precious few who are truly faithful Catholic Bishops. Bishop Robert Morlino of Madison, WI. passed away Sat evening after a 'cardiac event' on the Wed. before Thanksgiving. Not only the Diocese of Madison, but the entire Church has lost a 'Lion for Jesus in His true Church'. For everything these derelict Bishops that spout heresy are, Bishop Morlino was the opposite, and he wasn't afraid to publicly and boldly proclaim truth. A grievous loss for all of us. May he rest in the peace of Christ and may he now help our ailing Church more than he ever could while on the earth. We've truly lost a treasure....pray for his soul.
