The "Gospel" according to Oprah...

"I am amazed that you are so quickly forsaking the one who called you by (the) grace (of Christ) for a different gospel (not that there is another). But there are some who are disturbing you and wish to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach (to you) a gospel other than the one that we preached to you, let that one be accursed!
As we have said before, and now I say again, if anyone preaches to you a gospel other than the one that you received, let that one be accursed
!" (Galatians 1: 6-9).

  1. There is nothing "new" about the New Age Movement. It is the very old temptation of Lucifer: "Ye shall be like gods." Oprah Winfrey is really promoting Satanism. That's what the New Age Movement is. She is one of many preparing people for the advent of Antichrist. So many are vulnerable right now with the clergy abuse scandals and so much going on in society.

anti-Christs are all around us, especially in the mainstream media and in the political Democratic party. Thanks for pointing out Oprah.

The canditates and the platform of the democratic party are blatantly against the Lord's teaching. Therefore, Catholics have a serious obligation to leave the democratic party.

Years ago Oprah was promoting another New Age writer. His name is Kalil Gibran and he wrote a New Age tome called "The Prophet." Christians be aware of Oprah's occultism. She has also hailed Obama as some sort of "new messiah" or "enlightened one" who will take us to a "higher plane" of consciousness. She is indeed dangerous.

  4. Thank you all for your comments. This is all very disturbing as Ms. Winfrey has so much influence in the secular media.

Note: Richard B has been defending Church teaching for many, many years within the Diocese of Worcester. His book "Spiritual Malpractice" has documented the "disintegration of a Diocese" (The Wanderer) and he has worked with JayG of Defend the Faith (a popular Blog which links to this Blog).

    Thanks again all.
    Paul.
