Worcester Diocese: More parishes to close....

More signs of decay. As more and people apostasize, as Mass attendance declines, parishes close. Our Lady told Fr. Gobbi, "The hour of its great trial has above all come for the Church, because it will be shaken by the lack of faith, obscured by apostasy, wounded by betrayal, abandoned by its children, divided by schisms, possessed and dominated by Freemasonry, turned into fertile soil from which will spring up the wicked tree of the man of iniquity, the Antichrist, who will bring his kingdom into its interior." (January 1, 1993).

Those of us who adhere to the truths of the Church as taught by the Magisterium are no longer welcome at many parishes which have succumbed to the spirit of Antichrist. Indeed, Our Lady's Movement - the Marian Movement of Priests - is not welcome in many parishes. But dissent groups such as VOTF often are welcome in these parishes.

There are many priests, religious and laity who are betraying the Church from within. Such are preparing the way for the Son of Perdition, whom many believe is about to make his appearance upon the world's stage.

Your experience at St. Joseph's Parish in Fitchburg is a good example of the hatred and hostility which modernists have for orthodox Catholics Paul. When you mentioned the idea of creating a parish website to reach out to young people and all those who had left the church, Father specifically asked you if you would be willing to undertake the task. I was present at the Parish meeting last month. But when certain forces in the parish discovered your orthodoxy and loyalty to the Magisterium, suddenly you became persona non grata.

St. Joseph's Parish is dying. Its' leadership doesn't have the answers. Mass attendance has dwindled to the point where it is becoming increasingly obvious that the Parish will have to close.

In my opinion, the "leaders" of our Parish are hard of heart and are not working things out in the Holy Spirit. I am ashamed of their behavior and their callous attitude toward faithful Catholics who have a zeal for the Church's Magisterium.

You deserved better Paul. We all deserve better. God bless you whereever you are attending Mass now. I' keeping this anonumous because I know these people will retaliate against me if I don't.

  2. In a letter dated March 25, 2008, Fr. John Welch wrote (in part), "I come from an environment where church parishioners not only take pride in their parish, but also take ownership of their parish as well. We, all of us, are the Church....If want to become involved in church ministry - we'd love to have you!!!"

Apparently for Fr. Welch and a few others at St. Joseph's Parish, my commitment to the Church's Magisterial teaching was just too much. Because of my record of defending and promoting the Church's authentic teaching, I was no longer considered by Fr. Welch and others at St. Joseph's Parish to be part of the Church and consequently they no longer would love to have me.

I attended the parish meeting because I wanted to offer a helping hand. I was given the green light by Fr. Welch and a retired Deacon by the name of Bob Leger.

When the invitation to participate in parish life was revoked, I wrote a calm, charitable letter expressing my confusion over the way I was treated. Neither Fr. Welch nor retired Deacon Bob Leger bothered to respond to my letter.

All the more strange since the PEOPLE present at the parish meeting applauded at my idea.

It would seem that the parishioners are more interested in reaching out and building community than the parish leadership is.

    What a shame.

  3. Our Lady also told Father Stefano Gobbi that, "Humanity is now on the brink of that destruction which it could bring upon itself by its own hand. Indeed, that which was predicted to you by me at Fatima, concerning the final closing of this age of yours, has already begun. How can I hold back the hand of divine Justice, when the perversion which humanity has reached, as it walks along the road of obstinate rebellion against God, becomes greater day by day? How many nations could be involved and how many people killed, while many others would have to undergo unspeakable sufferings...Famine, fire and great destruction: this is what the scourge, which is about to strike humanity, will bring you. Beloved sons, heed, all of you, my urgent request; because my Immaculate Heart trembles: it is in anguish at the fate which awaits you."

    - January 22, 1980.

But people aren't listening. The Mall and shopping centers have become the new churches; men would rather play golf on weekends than listen to the Word of God, many women are becoming (or have become already) masculinized and have abandoned their femininity, they prefer doing their "own thing" on Sundays. They neglect to teach their children the faith and to inculcate in them a love for Jesus and the sacraments of His Church. And , as a result, these innocent souls are robbed of the faith which is their right and are lost forever.

And where are our "pastors"? They are easily distracted by the pleasures of the world and have abandoned their vocations to be salt and light. And when a lay person - man or woman - who has great faith and a love for souls proposes an idea which could be beneficial to the Church or demonstrates the desire to accomplish a good work, they do their utmost to discourage such a person. And so, these "pastors" (who really hate souls and their vocation), ignore the words of Jesus that whoever does not gather with Him, scatters.

Their punishment will be the most severe.

I didn't find Saint Joseph's Church to be a welcoming Church either. The current deacon was very cold to me and I thought the only friendly and charitable priest there was Fr. Hughes. If the Church in Cleghorn is dying, it is because the Holy Spirit is not really at work there.
