Creighton University underscores a much larger problem within the Catholic Church in the United States...

Matt Lamb notes how, "An analysis by The College Fix of political party registrations among Creighton University’s theology professors found zero registered Republican scholars in the group.

Of the 19 theology professors teaching at the private Catholic university in Omaha, Neb., there are 13 registered Democrats, one is registered as nonpartisan, and the remaining five scholars’ party affiliations could not be determined using the state’s online database of voter registration data.

What’s more, the finding underscores a larger trend identified across the entire university. Of the 295 scholars looked up in the voter registration database, 41 percent of Creighton’s professors are Democrat, 15 percent are Republicans, 16 percent are nonpartisan, and almost 25 percent were not able to be determined.

The undetermined professors either were not registered or did not have easy-to-find registrations. Some professors may have been registered to vote in nearby Iowa as well.

So while the data may be partially incomplete, it illustrates that Democrats heavily dominate teaching positions at the Catholic university."

Does this really surprise anyone? Across the entire country many have witnessed the ugly spectacle of local churches which hold themselves up as Catholic even while prostituting the faith, or at the very least watering down Catholic moral teaching while genuflecting before the world and its Prince.  See here for example.

The Catholic Church in the United States has become way too comfortable with the party of abortion, contraception and sodomy.

Small wonder that so many faithful Catholics are disillusioned.  Those who hold themselves up as Catholic while voting among democratic party lines, are liars.  Catholics in name only.

No one who is sane can claim to be Catholic while advancing the killing of children within the womb or a sin that cries to heaven for vengeance.

Year of Mercy or Year of Presumption?

More important (or rather, more frightening) than the preponderance of Democrats over Republicans (or liberals over conservatives) is the presence and recognition of openly active sodomites (and their "allies") on "Catholic" college campuses such as "Outfront" at Worcester's Holy Cross College described on its own page (http://www.holycross.edu/diversity/outfront-holy-cross-glbtq-faculty-and-staff-alliance) on the college's official website as:

Outfront: A Holy Cross GLBTQ Faculty and Staff Alliance is open to GLBTQ-identified faculty, staff, and their allies in the HC community.

Our mission is to:

Support and encourage GLBTQ faculty and staff.

Cultivate a vibrant social community of GLBTQ faculty and staff.

Promote stimulating education and dialog about GLBTQ issues on campus.

Build an academic and professional network for those engaged in GLBTQ teaching, scholarship, and service.

Maintain close connections with the student group Pride and the GLBTQ Alumni Network.

Any Roman Catholic institution that supports these sins will have to answer to God....and the minute they do support them, they become CINOs (Catholic in name only - in other words, they cease to be Catholic!)

At one time it was said that the curriculum of Jesuit colleges was ordered by Scholastic philosophy and united by Catholic theology; now apparently it is ordered by sodomy and united by buggery.

Check this out. Isn't the Diocese of LA the largest diocese in the USA?

As a convert, I can tell you that outside the Church looking in, it is very difficult to see Catholic Christianity in the American Catholic Church. What is easy to see is what I call "Democatholicism", the syncretistic blending of Democrat politics and Catholic comfort-culture. Democatholics run the Church in the USA, and they do it both in overt ways and by intimidating the {supposedly} orthodox leadership and Bishops who sit idly by philosophically and theologically "masturbating", that is, going thru the motions and producing nothing, speaking in hushed terms, not stirring the pot, not resisting to the face those who stand for evil, who are not few. There should be a doctrinal civil war in the USA and there isn't. We have..."peeace", a false peace, but peace among the leadwership. There shouldn't be. There should be constant and direct confrontation from Bishop to Bishop, led by those who care for the message of Jesus Christ and His Church. We need a "Revolution of Righteousness".

As far as political parties are concerned, I have no faith in the Republicans. But there is no way a true believer in the Lord Jesus Christ can support the platform of the Democrat Party in the USA.

“Homosexuality is not normal. On the contrary it is a challenge to the norm. Nature exists whether academics like it or not. And in nature, procreation is the single relentless rule. That is the norm. Our sexual bodies were designed for reproduction. No one is born gay. The idea is ridiculous. Homosexuality is an adaptation, not an inborn trait.” — Lesbian activist and writer Camille Paglia
