As it was in the Days of Noah...
Bishop George Michael Wittman was given the following prophecy: "Woe is me! Sad days are at hand for the Holy Church of Jesus Christ. The Passion of Jesus will be renewed in the most dolorous manner in the Church and in her Supreme Head. In all parts of the world there will be wars and revolutions, and much blood will be spilled. Distress, disasters, and poverty will everywhere be great, since pestilential maladies, scarcity, and other misfortunes will follow one another. Violent hands will be laid on the Supreme Head of the Catholic Church; bishops and priests will be persecuted, and schisms will be provoked, and confusion reign amid all classes. Times will come, so pre-eminently bad, that it will seem as if the enemies of Christ and of His Holy Church, which He founded with His blood, were about to triumph over her. But the priesthood will remain firm and resolute, and good people will adhere faithfully to that body. A general separation will be made. The wheat shall be winnowed, and the floor swept. Secret societies will work great ruin, and exercise a marvellous monetary power, and through that many will be blinded, and infected with most horrible errors; however, all this shall avail naught. Christ says, He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who gathereth not with Me, scattereth. Scandals will be but too rife, and woe to those by whom they come! Although the tempest will be terrible, and will turn many in their passage, nevertheless they cannot shake the rock whereon Christ has founded His Church: 'Portae inferi non prevalebunt.'.. The faithful sheep will gather together, and in unions of prayer will offer potent resistance to the enemies of the Catholic Church. Yes, yes, the flock will become small..."
And so it has become small. As it was in the says of Noah, says Our Lord, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man. Those days were days of violence, sexual immorality and demonism. Noah, a righteous man, and his family, were deemed "crazy" for building an ark on dry land.
So too faithful Christians today are deemed crazy for entering the New Ark, the safe refuge of the Immaculata, in preparation for the coming deluge. Not one of water, but of fire.

America: Slouching toward Gomorrah, slouching toward destruction
In the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith's Letter to Bishops of the Catholic Church on the Pastoral Care of Homosexual Persons, Cardinal Ratzinger summarized the biblical teaching on homosexuality and explained why the Church's teaching on this subject follows necessarily from her teaching on the nature and purpose of sexuality: "The Church, obedient to the Lord who founded her and gave to her the sacramental life, celebrates the divine plan of the loving and life-giving union of men and women in the Sacrament of Marriage. It is only in the marital relationship that the use of the sexual faculty can be morally good. A person engaging in homosexual behavior therefore acts immorally. To choose someone of the same sex for one's sexual activity is to annul the rich symbolism and meaning, not to mention the goals, of the Creator's sexual design. Homosexual activity is not a complementary union, able to transmit life; and so it thwarts the call to a life of that form of self-giving which the Gospel says is the essence of Christian living. This does not mean that homosexual persons are not often generous and giving of themselves; but when they engage in homosexual activity they confirm within themselves a disordered sexual inclination which is essentially self-indulgent. As in every moral disorder, homosexual activity prevents one's own fulfillment and happiness by acting contrary to the creative wisdom of God. The Church, in rejecting erroneous opinions regarding homosexuality, does not limit but rather defends personal freedom and dignity realistically and authentically understood."
Increasingly, Americans are coming to reject God's plan for marriage and family life. As a result, America is placing itself under judgement.
Our Lady told Fr. Stephano Gobbi on November 15, 1990, at Malvern Pennsylvania: "I announce to you that the hour of the great trial is on the point of arriving. The great trial has arrived for your country. How many times, as a concerned and sorrowing mother, have I endeavored to urge my children to follow the path of conversion and of return to the Lord. I have not been listened to. You have continued to walk along the way of rejection of God, and of His law of love. Sins of impurity have become ever more widespread, and immorality has spread like a sea which has submerged all things. Homosexuality, a sin of impurity which is against nature, has been justified; recourse to the means of preventing life have become commonplace, while abortions - these killings of innocent children, that cry for vengeance before the face of God - have spread and are performed in every part of your homeland. The moment of divine justice and of great mercy has now arrived.
You will know the hour of weakness and of poverty; the hour of suffering and defeat; the purifying hour of the great chastisement. The great trial has arrived for your Church. How great is your responsibility, O Pastors of the Holy Church of God! You continue along the path of division from the Pope and of the rejection of his Magisterium; indeed, in a hidden way, there is in preparation a true schism which could soon become open and proclaimed...And then, there will remain only a small faithful remnant, over which I will keep watch in the garden of my Immaculate Heart.
The great trial has arrived for all humanity. The chastisement, predicted by me at Fatima and contained in that part of the secret which has not yet been revealed, is about to take place. The great moment of divine justice and of mercy has come upon the world."
There will be scoffers. As in the days of Noah. Noah and his family were mocked and ridiculed until the flood waters came. And the laughing stopped. And a great multitude suddenly realized that they had not chosen wisely.

Extinguish not the spirit...
"When the great time will come, in which mankind will face its last, hard trial, it will be foreshadowed by striking changes in nature; the alteration between cold and heat will become more intensive, storms will have more catastrophic effects, earthquakes will destroy greater regions and the seas will overflow many lowlands. Not all of it will be the result of natural causes, but man will penetrate into the bowels of the earth and will reach into the clouds, gambling with its own existence."
It was Father Albert J. Hebert who said, "Today, Jonah stands at the gates of Nineveh. Today, the angels leave Abraham and are on their way to destroy Sodom, Gomorrah and the other three cities of the plains, in the present Dead Sea area. Today, Noah and his sons patiently near the end of their building of the Ark, while the onlookers ridicule and mock them. But the clouds with the rains of the Deluge are on the way." Today, as in the days of Noah, there are scoffers who are anxious to ridicule the faithful remnant who issue the warning call: repent for a great chastisement is at hand. Jesus said it would be so. In Matthew 24: 37-41, Our Lord tells us, "As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they did not know until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Then two men will be in the field; one is taken and one is left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one is taken and one is left."
In the comments section of a previous post, one such scoffer wrote, "This website is a little negative for my taste. St Augustine also said: 'Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe.' I feel for you Paul. It seems through your writing that you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. I'll pray for you so that you might write about something joyful soon, and that the thought illuminates the Christ within." To which I responded, "The truth is too negative for you Terry. I'm sorry to hear that. Let me assure you that I'm not carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. I live a sacramental life and a joy-filled one in Christ Jesus. The only people who carry an unnecessary weight are those who refuse to repent of their sins. Perhaps you are simply living in denial?
Father Thomas Euteneuer, the President of Human Life International, has said, 'We’ve got a serious crisis on the horizon. I’m not a prophet of doom but I don’t see this going any other way but a serious political crisis that’s going to affect the globe. The only way we can avert a global collapse is by a moral conversion. Once again, we have to reverse the process. Just to rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic, is not a way to stop the collapse, the sinking of the Titanic. We have to turn back to God. And if people get fed up and just elect another political party that is just as bad as the previous political party, it does nothing to stem the global crisis that’s going to come upon us. What we need is a conversion of heart.'

No need to feel for me Terry. Your time would be better spent praying for this sin-sick nation and for its conversion. In his time, Noah was considered 'too negative.' How did those people outside the Ark fare Terry?"
This is something we all need to reflect on. How did those outside the Ark fare? The Ark today is Holy Mother Church. The Ark today is the Immaculate Heart of Mary, our refuge. America is in turmoil because it has turned away from God. We need conversion of heart. A Tea Party will not save us. Neither will the Republican or Democratic parties.

The present times are worse than at the time of Noah

Many prophecies of recent years have referred to terrible damage which will result from fire and lightning. After the Great Flood, God promised that He would not destroy the world again by water - although this does not mean that no country or region will suffer from extensive floods or tidal waves. It means that God will not permit the entire world to be destroyed by a worldwide flood. But we read in 2 Peter 3: 3-7, that: "..in the last days scoffers will come to scoff, living according to their own desires and saying, 'Where is the promise of his coming? From the time when our ancestors fell asleep, everything has remained as it was from the beginning of creation.' They deliberately ignore the fact that the heavens existed of old and earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God; through these the world that then existed was destroyed, deluged with water. The present heavens and earth have been reserved by the same word for fire, kept for the day of judgment and of destruction of the godless."
If we are spiritually awake and able to look behind the deceptive facade of our society, we quickly discern that while we may look civilized [and some of us really are], our barbarism is every bit as real and every bit as evil as that of the hordes of Genghis Khan or the Third Reich. Like the Nazis, we attempt to cloak the genocide we commit [ the genocide of abortion] in euphemistic terminology. The Nazis referred to their genocide of the Jewish People as the "Final Solution." We refer to our genocide of the unborn as "reproductive freedom" and "choice" in a satanic effort to legitimize the killing of these innocents.
We believe that God will continue to bless America as we slaughter the innocents and disregard His Commandments. Our Lady said at Fatima that, "The sin that leads most souls to hell are sins of the flesh." This is why Our Lady asked the three children at Fatima to do penances which were very difficult for their age, in order to help save souls. And this after she showed them a vision of fiery Hell, with souls falling into it like snowflakes but burning as embers. It is most significant that Our Lady said this at a time when the revolution against sexual purity and morality was nothing like it is today. Think on that for a moment. Think very carefully what it portends for our present day world which Our Lady described as being "worse than at the time of Noah."
If things are really that bad [and they are, we have Our Lady's word on it as well as our own spiritual senses - if they are still awake], why is it that so many of our priests are remaining silent? When we consider the genocide of abortion and other sins associated with lust: contraception, fornication, self-mutilation, incest, child abuse, homosexuality, lesbianism, pornography and other unnatural practices such as bestiality, the facade begins to crumble and we begin to realize that Our Lady is right. Our time is worse than at the time of Noah.
Pope St. Pius X, a Pope who possessed many charismatic gifts, said that, "The present wickedness of the world is only the beginning of sorrows which must take place before the end of the world. Humanity is in the grip of a supreme crisis." What will be the fate of those who refuse the Mercy of God* and who prefer to live according to their own desires? In the words of Blessed Anna Maria Taigi, "All the enemies of the Church, known and unknown, will perish all over the world during the universal darkness, with the exception of a few who will be converted."
