Pope Benedict XVI is worried about the state of the church in the United States. No doubt those who insist that everything is just fine here in the United States will now accuse His Holiness of throwing a "temper tantrum." Oh well, at least I'll be in good company.

You know things are bad when the Pope says that he is concerned about the state of the Church in America. Denial of problems is not the answer. Tackling problems with honesty and most importantly prayer is the solution.
Exactly Robert. "Anonymous" wrote another comment which I have deleted. In it, this confused soul accuses me of comparing myself with the Holy Father because I wrote of his constructive criticism of the Church in America and how he'll probably be attacked for his observations and added: "At least I'll be in good company."

I didn't get the impression at all that you were "comparing yourself" with the Pope.
What a sarcastic remark! Looks as if this troubled person is attempting to bait you into getting angry. You are wise to delete this person's comments and to avoid any anger in return.
Some people have real issues they need to deal with.
