More great news from Rome.....

This is precisely what Catholics need: more reverence for the Holy Eucharist and concise homilies which pertain to the days readings.

That is good news Paul. Most of us have had our fill of irreverence at Mass and banal homilies which offer nothing of any substance but rather psychobabble or New Age fantasies or egocentric ramblings. The priest is a minister of God, not an actor on a stage.

I've found recently attending St Patricks (in Nashua) and receiving the Holy Eucharist while on my knees and on the tongue has been quite enriching for reverence. The Tridentine Mass is spiritually powerful.

Adam, indeed. Your reverence for the Lord Jesus in the Eucharist is a powerful testament to your faith. God love you brother!

I definitely look forward to this. We need it desperately. We need reverence. We need humility. We need to acknowledge our smallness again. We need to acknowledge that we are only sinful CREATURES and that there is only ONE God.
