Prophecy of Sr. Marianne de Jesus Torres being fulfilled in our time...

Our Lady told Sr. Marianne de Jesus Torres (17th century - Our Lady of Good Success, Quito, Ecuador):

"The Church will find itself attacked by waves of a secret sect ... corrupted priests will scandalize the Church ... Moreover, in these unhappy times there will be unbridled luxury which, acting thus to snare the rest into sin, will conquer innumerable frivolous souls who will lose themselves. Innocence will almost no longer be found in children, nor modesty in women, and, in this supreme moment of need of the Church, those whom it behooves to speak will fall silent."

As for the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, it will be attacked and deeply profaned. Freemasonry, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the aim of doing away with this Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin and encouraging the procreation of illegitimate children born without the blessing of the Church. The Catholic spirit will rapidly decay; the precious light of Faith will gradually be extinguished until there will be an almost total and general corruption of customs. Added to this will be the effects of secular education, which will be one reason for the dearth of priestly and religious vocations. “The Sacrament of Holy Orders will be ridiculed, oppressed, and despised, for in this Sacrament, the Church of God and even God Himself is scorned and despised since He is represented in His priests.

The Devil will try to persecute the ministers of the Lord in every possible way; he will labor with cruel and subtle astuteness to deviate them from the spirit of their vocation and will corrupt many of them. These depraved priests, who will scandalize the Christian people, will make the hatred of bad Catholics and the enemies of the Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church fall upon all priests. "This apparent triumph of Satan will bring enormous sufferings to the good Pastors of the Church, the many good priests, and the Supreme Pastor and Vicar of Christ on Earth, who, a prisoner in the Vatican, will shed secret and bitter tears in the presence of his God and Lord, beseeching light, sanctity, and perfection for all the clergy of the world, of whom he is King and Father. Our Lord told her: "My Justice will be tried to the limit by the evils and sacrileges of the 20th Century ... I shall punish heresy, blasphemy and impurity."

What then? Shall we resign ourselves to despair? Never! Now, more than ever, faithful Catholics need to rally and enter the battle for souls. Now, more than ever, we need to pray for priests and religious. Now, more than ever, we need to pray and fast and offer deliverance prayers for a Church besieged on so many fronts.

To put it simply: now is the time to pray for the Holy Spirit's Gift of Fortitude and to engage (to borrow from this week's Catholic Free Press) in spiritual guerilla warfare. We need soldiers. This old war dog is trying to do his part. Let's all cry out with Cicero: "Cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war."

For our war, our battle, is with principalities and powers. Ours is a spiritual war. And what is at stake is souls! Souls created in the image and likeness of God! Think of that as you pick up your "sword, breastplate and shield."
Father James Farfaglia is saying essentially the same thing at his Blog. Read what this militant priest (the best kind) has to say about the meltdown here.

There is no doubting it now. America is crumbling. The economy will soon crash completely and the ensuing crisis will be like that which the country has never known. Now is the time - at this 11th hour - to prepare spiritually. The dollar is poised to die. And as the chaos erupts, things may even descend into violence as people fight for survival. These conditions will be the excuse for martial law and a dictatorship to enslave all. Pray, pray, pray.

Excellent post Paul - I look forward to meeting you in heaven.

My husband told me this morning of a dream he had last night, briefly: He and I were in a large auditorium/amphitheatre filled with people. There was some sort of "performance" beginning and very early into it he realized this ceremony was satanic. As he grabbed me and we began to leave, a kind man approached and tried to assuage my husband's fears. My husband recognizing this ruse held out his scapular with its attached Miraculous and St. Benedict medals and rebuked this man "By the power of holy St. Benedict and St. Michael the archangel I command you to leave us at once! May the Lord cast you into the fires of hell you demon!" and instantly the "man" cowered and his face became hideous but he was powerless over us.

We are indeed in a battle for our very souls and we must pray unceasingly for the salvation of others. Our weapons are the: all sacraments especially Holy Communion, prayer especially the rosary, blessed medals, especially St. Benedicts exorcism medal, scapulars (no Catholic should be without one at all times) holy water, blessed oils, exorcism salt, holy statues/pictures - all these things the devil hates and flees from. No soldier can be effective without proper weapons!

I look forward to seeing you there too Sanctus. With the help of God's grace, I work out my salvation in fear and trembling.

Your husband's dream is very significant spiritually. And makes me think of 2 Corinthians Chapter 11, verses 13-15: "For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, who masquerade as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. So it is not strange that his ministers also masquerade as ministers of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds."

I've come across such deceitful workers who masquerade as angels of light. Such are eventually exposed though. They talk the talk so to speak but do not walk the walk - like the Pharisees.

We can be sure we are truthful workers in Jesus' vineyard if we are praying every day, confessing our own sins, living a sacramental life, and striving each and every day to achieve transformation in Christ (with the help of God's grace without which nothing is possible).

Our truthfulness and our fidelity are proven by our lives.

Just as we have holy hours for vocations (in some parishes), we should have holy hours for priests. The priests deserve our constant prayers. And they really need them. Let's not let them down. Let's instead respond to Fr. Farfaglia's and Paul's battle cry.

Excerpt from the phrophecy of Sr. Marianne "These depraved priests, who will scandalize the Christian people, will make the hatred of bad Catholics and the enemies of the Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church fall upon all priests"

This seems to be happening here in Ireland right now. The official report into clerical sexual abuse has just been published and there is a huge scandal here about it. It makes sickening reading and follows on the heals of similar report of abuse by Christian Brothers and other religious orders. Indeed the vatican was shown to be uncooperative with the investigators. Rome has been silent apart from accepting the resignation of 3 bishops. I feel sorry for the many holy priests we have.
Prayer is needed everywhere
