Derek, our age is consumed by satanic pride and confusion. I cited a Scriptural truth which is found in 1 John 1: 8-10 at Our Lady's Tears - "If we say, 'We are without sin,' we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we acknowledge our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from every wrongdoing. If we say, 'We have not sinned,' we make him a liar, and his word is not in us" - and was accused of suggesting that God can be made a liar!
Then this poor confused soul said that I have misinterpreted the Scripture.
Even within the Church there is much confusion and an unhealthy desire to argue about everything.
People have so little moral fibre now that when the economy and our civilization collapses, I see people killing each other for even basic food necessities and gasoline. It will be a chastisement the likes of which we cannot even imagine.
Paul, I think you are so right. Many people today are so ignorant of the Scriptures and Church teaching. And yet they presume to "teach" or "correct" others.
