Our Lady told Fr. Stefano Gobbi of the Marian Movement of Priests:"I am weeping because the Church is continuing along the road of division, of loss of the true faith, of apostasy and of errors which are being spread more and more without anyone offering opposition to them. Even now, that which I predicted at Fatima and that which I have revealed here in the third message confided to a little daughter of mine (i.e. Sister Lucia) is in the process of being accomplished. And so, even for the Church the moment of its great trial has come, because the man of iniquity will establish himself within it and the abomination of desolation will enter into the holy temple of God." (To the Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons, No. 362, September 15, 1987, p. 572.)
And again:"The black beast like a leopard indicates Freemasonry; the beast with the two horns like a lamb indicates Freemasonry infiltrated into the interior of the Church, that is to say, ecclesiastical Masonry, which has spread especially among the members of the hierarchy. This Masonic infiltration, in the interior of the Church, was already foretold to you by me at Fatima, when I announced to you that Satan would enter in even to the summit of the Church. If the task of Masonry is to lead souls to perdition, bringing them to the worship of false divinities, the task of ecclesiastical Masonry on the other hand is that of destroying Christ and his Church, building a new idol, namely a false christ and a false church." (To the Priests, Our Lady's Beloved Sons, No. 406, June 13, 1989, p. 649)

A Prayer for those who feel hated...
I know what it feels like to be ostracized. To be excluded because one does not belong to a certain clique. All the more so because of my Acadian heritage. The Acadians have long had the memory of being an unwanted people. A people thrown out of their own homeland and hated for their deep Catholic faith.
Fr. James Martin, S.J., has written a beautiful prayer for those who feel hated or excluded, even within their own Church:
A Prayer for those who feel Hated
Loving God, you made me who I am.
I praise you and I love you, for I am wonderfully made,
in your own image.
But when people make fun of me, I feel hurt and embarrassed and even ashamed.
So please God, help me remember my own goodness,
which lies in you.
Help me remember my dignity,
which you gave me when I was conceived.
Help me remember that I can live a life of love.
Because you created my heart.
Be with me when people make fun of me,
and help me to respond how you would want me to,
in a love that respects other, but also respects me.
Help me find friends who love me for who I am.
Help me, most of all, to be a loving person.
And God, help me remember that Jesus loves me.
For he was seen as an outcast, too.
He was misunderstood, too.
He was beaten and spat upon.
Jesus understands me, and loves me with a special love,
because of the way you made me.
And when I am feeling lonely,
help me remember that Jesus welcomed everyone as a friend.
Jesus reminded everyone that God loved them.
And Jesus encouraged everyone to embrace their dignity,
even when others were blind to that dignity.
Jesus loved everyone with the love that you gave him.
And he loves me, too.
One more thing, God:
Help me remember that nothing is impossible with you,
that you have a way of making things better,
that you can find a way of love for me,
even if I can't see it right now.
Help me remember all these things in the heart you created,
loving God.
Amen.

Where was the concern over incivility when a Boston Catholic priest ridiculed Cardinal Bertone in a Blog post?
frank (frngk)
adj. frank·er, frank·est
1. Open and sincere in expression; straightforward: made several frank remarks about the quality of their work.
2. Clearly manifest; evident: frank enjoyment.
Rachel Zoll, a religion writer for the Associated Press, in an article entitled "Catholic bloggers aim to purge dissenters," examines how Catholic bloggers have been taking on the culture of dissent within the Catholic Church in the United States. Ms. Zoll's article quotes Terrence Donilion, spokesman for the Boston Archdiocese, as responding to such bloggers thusly: "The lack of civility is very disturbing." But there is a vast difference between being frank and being rude. Sometimes the truth is unsettling. But it is still the truth.
Interestingly, back in August I exposed a Blog authored by Father Emile "Mike" Boutin. In one post I noted how Father Boutin argued at his Blog that priests should not be celibate and ridiculed Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, a Prince of the Church, for his views on homosexuality. I don't remember Terence Donilon - or anyone else for that matter - castigating Father Boutin or accusing him of incivility.
What would that suggest to you dear reader?

The masonic plan to subvert the Church from within according to Nubius...
I have said this hundreds of times before, masonic forces seek to subvert the Church from within and to create a "new church" created in the image and likeness of man. The new humanitarian religion will result from a quiet revolution within the Church. This new religion will be anti-supernatural. And it will embrace the Socialistic New World Order and the Reign of Antichrist. This is the false church Venerable Anne Catherine Emmerich saw in her visions.
Father Emmanuel Barbier, a well-known anti-modernist and anti-masonic author, transcribed a document dated April 3, 1844, in which a high-ranking leader of Italian masonic forces called Nubius explains to another highly-placed mason how the quiet revolution will work. He writes, "Now then, in order to ensure a pope in the required proportions, we must first of all prepare a generation worthy of the kingdom of which we dream...
Cast aside the old men and men of a mature age; go to the youth, and if possible, even to children...It is to the youth that we must go, it is the youth that we must lead, unperceived by them, under the flag of the secret societies. In order to advance with prudent steps on this dangerous but sure way, two things are absolutely necessary. You must have the simplicity of doves and the prudence of the serpent...Never pronounce before them a word of impiety or impurity: Maxima debetur puero reverentia...Once your reputation has been established in colleges, high schools, universities, and seminaries, once you have gained the confidence of professors and students, make sure that especially those who enter the ranks of the clergy be pleased with your meetings...
Such reputation will give your doctrine access to the young clergy and to convents. In a few years, this clergy will naturally have invaded all functions: they will govern, administer, judge, from the Sovereign's council, be called to choose the Pontiff who must reign; and this Pontiff, like most of his contemporaries, will be more or less imbued with Italian and humanitarian principles that we will start placing in circulation...Let the clergy move forward under your standard always believing they are advancing under the banner of the apostolic Keys. Cast your net like Simon Bar Jonas; spread it to the bottom of sacristies, seminaries, and convents, rather than casting it to the bottom of the sea; if you do not precipitate anything, we promise you a catch even more miraculous than his...
You will have fished a revolution dressed in the Pope's triple crown and cape, carrying the cross and the flag, a revolution that will need only a small stimulus to set fire to the four corners of the earth." (Nubius, Secret Instructions on the Conquest of the Church, excerpted from Les infiltrations maconiques dans l'Eglise, Paris/Brussels: Desclee de Brouwer, 1901, p. 5).

"If destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher..."
It was Abraham Lincoln, in a speech given on January 27, 1837, who forewarned: "At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us; it cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen we must live through all time, or die by suicide."
And indeed we are sowing the seeds of our own destruction. It was Pope John Paul II who taught us, in his Encyclical Letter Evangelium Vitae [the Gospel of Life] that: "...If the promotion of the self is understood in terms of absolute autonomy, people inevitably reach the point of rejecting one another. Everyone else is considered an enemy from whom one has to defend oneself. Thus society becomes a mass of individuals placed side by side, but without any mutual bonds. Each one wishes to assert himself independently of the other and in fact intends to make his own interests prevail. Still, in the face of other people's analogous interests, some kind of compromise must be found, if one wants a society in which the maximum possible freedom is guaranteed to each individual. In this way, any reference to common values and to a truth absolutely binding on everyone is lost, and social life ventures on to the shifting sands of complete relativism. At that point, everything is negotiable, everything is open to bargaining: even the first of the fundamental rights, the right to life. This is what is happening also at the level of politics and government: the original and inalienable right to life is questioned or denied on the basis of a parliamentary vote or the will of one part of the people-even if it is the majority. This is the sinister result of a relativism which reigns unopposed: the 'right' ceases to be such, because it is no longer firmly founded on the inviolable dignity of the person, but is made subject to the will of the stronger part. In this way democracy, contradicting its own principles, effectively moves towards a form of totalitarianism. The State is no longer the 'common home' where all can live together on the basis of principles of fundamental equality, but is transformed into a tyrant State, which arrogates to itself the right to dispose of the life of the weakest and most defenceless members, from the unborn child to the elderly, in the name of a public interest which is really nothing but the interest of one part. The appearance of the strictest respect for legality is maintained, at least when the laws permitting abortion and euthanasia are the result of a ballot in accordance with what are generally seen as the rules of democracy. Really, what we have here is only the tragic caricature of legality; the democratic ideal, which is only truly such when it acknowledges and safeguards the dignity of every human person, is betrayed in its very foundations: How is it still possible to speak of the dignity of every human person when the killing of the weakest and most innocent is permitted? In the name of what justice is the most unjust of discriminations practised: some individuals are held to be deserving of defence and others are denied that dignity?" When this happens, the process leading to the breakdown of a genuinely human co-existence and the disintegration of the State itself has already begun. To claim the right to abortion, infanticide and euthanasia, and to recognize that right in law, means to attribute to human freedom a perverse and evil significance: that of an absolute power over others and against others. This is the death of true freedom: "Truly, truly, I say to you, every one who commits sin is a slave to sin" (Jn 8:34)." (Evangelium Vitae, No. 20).
President Lincoln possessed a wisdom and humility in his approach to government. Let's listen then to what he had to say on March 30, 1863, when he issued a historic Proclamation Appointing a National Fast Day: "...it is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow yet with assured hope that genuine repentance will lead to mercy and pardon, and to recognize the sublime truth, announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history: that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord: And, insomuch as we know that, by His divine law, nations like individuals are subjected to punishments and chastisement in this world, may we not justly fear that the awful calamity of civil war, which now desolates the land may be but a punishment inflicted upon us for our presumptuous sins to the needful end of our national reformation as a whole people? We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious Hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us! It behooves us then to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.."All this being done, in sincerity and truth, let us then rest humbly in the hope authorized by the Divine teachings, that the united cry of the nation will be heard on high and answered with blessing no less than the pardon of our national sins and the restoration of our now divided and suffering country to its former happy condition of unity and peace..."

Good Stewardship? How about priests setting an example?
Several years ago this article by Matt O'Brien appeared in the Fitchburg Sentinel & Enterprise:
BRIDGEWATER -- Convicted sex offender William Lamontagne says he had a romantic relationship with a Fitchburg priest who allegedly funneled stolen money to him.
"He came before everybody in my life," Lamontagne told the Sentinel & Enterprise during an interview inside the Massachusetts Treatment Center for the Sexually Dangerous. "I told my family if they were going to accept me, they'd have to accept him, too. And then he did this."
Investigators have charged the Rev. Donald Ouellette, pastor of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Fitchburg, with stealing more than $250,000 from the church.
He faces 18 counts of larceny over $250 and is free on bail while awaiting trial.
Ouellette, 49, grew up in Leominster and has served in the Worcester Diocese since his 1990 ordination.
"I just hope that people in the Immaculate Conception parish know I know that they're hurting," Lamontagne said. "I really feel sorry for those people. I felt in some way that I was sharing their pain. But on the other side, I was sharing what he did to them."
After years of hearing about sexual abuse scandals and crimes of larceny by Catholic priests such as Fr. Donald Ouellette or this Connecticut priest, many lay people remain concerned about where their money is really going. Can one blame them?
Now the Catholic Free Press, a publication which has often strayed from Catholic truth while publishing dissent from Catholic teaching in its pages, is reporting that 230 area Catholics attended a stewardship conference at Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Parish Center. Those in attendance heard a priest ask, "What percent of their income should people give to God?" To which the speaker replied, "Traditionally it's been 10 percent..but some should give 20 percent, some 50 percent...The Old Testament spoke of 10 percent. But Jesus said, 'Give it all.'" (Giving it all to God means...", Catholic Free Press, October 22, 2010).
Actually, Jesus never told everyone to "give it all." In the 19th chapter of Matthew, we are told that when a rich young man who had kept the commandments approached our Lord to ask Him what he must do to be perfect, "Jesus said to him, 'If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.'" (Mt. 19: 21).
The laity who live and work in the real world cannot give all of their monies away and still support themselves and their families. And the Lord Jesus does not expect this from them. His words are addressed to those who "wish to be perfect," who after giving all away will follow Jesus more closely in the priesthood or religious life.
So the real question is: Will our priests provide us with such an example of good stewardship? Will those who have responded to the call of Christ to follow Him more perfectly now renounce all of their possessions and lead by example? Most priests are paid a stipend of more than $1,500 a month. What an opportunity for our priests to actually walk the walk and not just talk the talk.
Or is good stewardship only for the laity?

At Princeton University Abortion Conference, Frances Kissling says, "We have to get rid of the idea of evil.."
Virtually all of the great pagan juridical systems acknowledged the fact of wrong-doing and their legal systems prescribed punishment for it. However, in our day, there is a widespread denial of the existence of sin and moral laws. This makes God appear as the Creator of evil. And God hates this blasphemy, pride and hypocrisy on the part of His creature man.On November 5, 1977, in a locution to Father Stephano Gobbi of the Marian Movement of Priests, Our Lady said: “Do not stop to consider the ever thickening darkness, the sin which has been set up as the norm of human action, the suffering which is mounting to its peak and the chastisement which this humanity is preparing with its own hands.”
At a recent abortion conference held at Princeton University, Frances Kissling shocked attendees with some of her bizarre remarks. One of which was that, "We have to get rid of the idea of evil." This particular remark is most significant. As Archbishop Fulton Sheen explains in his essay entitled "The sense of sin," "It may be interesting to inquire at this point why the modern world has lost its sense of sin. It should be immediately evident that it is the obvious consequence of the loss of the value of man. Under traditional Christianity, a man was a theological creature, an adopted son of God and a member of the Mystical Body of Christ; in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries man became a philosophical thing bound to God by some vague ties of creaturehood. But man today is only a biological phenomenon with no other destiny than that of the worm he crushes under his heel. Once one loses hold on the primary dogma that man has a moral end, and that his actions, thoughts, and words in this life are all registered in the Book of Life, and therefore will one day determine his eternal destiny, sin becomes meaningless. The modern mind has forgotten the dogma of man, and hence cannot avoid forgetting the morals of man, for one is the corrollary of the other. Deny that God is interested in the behavior of men and you immediately create a society in which man is uninterested in the behavior of his fellow man."

Mr. Slater was not the victim but the victimizer
Remember Steven Slater, the homosexual flight attendant who had a psychological meltdown? In a previous post, I referred to Mr. Slater as the face of American decline and noted that he is "hardly someone we should be holding up as a role model for our children." This when he was being hailed as a "working-class hero" by many - especially those confused souls in the homosexual community. I was immediately mocked by a homosexualist website. And this comes as no surprise. The homosexual community is always in pursuit of victim status to promote its agenda.
Well, Mr. Slater has now accepted a plea bargain to stay out of jail. He is required to enroll in both mental health and substance abuse counseling and to keep the court abreast of his progress. Mr. Slater was not the victim here. He was the victimizer. He was the mean-spirited bully who threw a tantrum because he couldn't live up to the demands of his chosen profession. His bizarre rant was the result of his psychological problems and not stress from dealing with unruly passengers.
Will the homosexual community now acknowledge this? Don't hold your breath.

Memo Reveals: Federal Agents Encouraged To Use Social Networks To Spy On Citizens
"The most common characteristic of all police states is intimidation by surveillance. Citizens know they are being watched and overheard. Their mail is being examined. Their homes can be invaded."
- Vance Packard, American journalist, social critic and author.
In the words of Dr. J. Coleman, who served as an Intelligence Officer, “The One-World Government is going to consist of hereditary oligarchs who will divide the power between themselves. There is going to be only one legal religion and only one state church. Only Satanism and Luciferism will be the legal religious subjects in state schools. No other schools (private, Catholic, etc.) will be allowed. All present Christian education systems are going to be destroyed (and the fact is — they are destroyed in the most part) from inside, and become extinct. Satanism is already considered to be a 'true and legal religion'. In fact, in some U.S. military bases, they already celebrate black masses and worship Satan.
There will not be any sort of personal freedom, nor sovereignty of nations, and no human rights at all. We will all become slaves. Every man who does not belong to the elite will have his own number which is going to be recorded in the main computer (the "BEAST 666" in Brussels, Belgium). For control purposes, such numbers will be easily accessible for any government agency. Data regarding children and their mothers will be kept in local government computers."

Christianity fades in England as paganism rises...
Many Catholic prophecies have indicated that England would largely abandon Christianity for a time before returning to the faith. It was Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser who said, "During the fifth period, we saw only calamities and devastation; oppression of Catholics by tyrants and heretics ...But by the Hand of God Almighty, there occurs so wondrous a change in the sixth period that no one can humanly visualize it. The powerful Monarch, who will be sent by God, will uproot every republic....The Empire of the Mohammedans will be broken up, and this Monarch will reign in the East as well as the West. All nations will come to worship God in the true Catholic and Roman faith. After desolation has reached its peak in England, peace will be restored and England will return to the Catholic faith with greater fervor than ever before."
On February 7, 1946, Our Blessed Mother came to Ida Peerdman as The Lady of All Nations. Ida recounted:
"Suddenly I see the Lady standing before me. She waves her finger to and fro in warning and says, 'Look over Europe, and warn the peoples of Europe.' The Lady looks very serious and says, 'Ora et labora'..and again she waves her finger to and fro in warning. Next the Lady lets me see a wolf. It keeps walking back and forth before me. Suddenly the animal disappears. Then she lets me see a sheep’s head with horns going around it, all intertwined. Then the Lady says again, 'Europe must be on its guard; warn the peoples of Europe.' After this she lets me see Rome; very clearly I see the Vatican rotating. Now the Lady seems to beckon me with her finger, and she says, 'Come; look carefully at this.' Then she raises three fingers and then her whole hand, that is, five fingers. She repeats this for me a few times. 'Look carefully and listen', she says, 'The East against the West.' Then I hear the Lady say again, 'Be on your guard, Europe! Now, suddenly, I see England before me. The Lady seems to take a step down and it is as if she places her foot on England. I look closely and see the Lady join her hands. Then she warns again; I hear her say, 'Woe to you, England!'
The Lady beckons me again to look carefully. Then all at once I see Rome before me again and the Pope seated. In his hand the Pope has an open book which he lets me see. I cannot see what kind of book it is. Then the Pope shows that book in all directions. I hear the Lady say, 'But much has to be changed there.' She points towards where the Pope is. She looks very serious and shakes her head. Again the Lady raises three fingers and then five fingers. Suddenly a feeling of confusion seizes me, and I hear the Lady say, New disasters are again coming upon the world.'... Then I hear the Lady say, 'Peoples of Europe, join together. Things are not in order here.' In the middle of Europe I see Germany, and it is as if that country wants to wriggle out of its place. Then I see England again, and I have to hold the crown firmly now with both hands. It is as if this crown were swaying, and I would have to put it firmly over England. I hear, 'England, be well aware of your task. England, you will have to go back to the Highest, the Highest!'"

The New Order wants to cripple the Church...
Our Lady told Father Gobbi of the Marian Movement of Priests that, "After having destroyed the historical Christ, the beast with the two horns like a lamb seeks to destroy the mystical Christ which is the Church." (June 13, 1989).
On June 3rd of that same year, Our Lady spoke the following words to Fr. Gobbi:
“Beloved sons, today you are gathered in cenacles of prayer to celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of your heavenly Mother. From every part of the world I have called you to consecrate yourselves to my Immaculate Heart, and you have responded with filial love and generosity. I have now formed for myself my army, with those children who have accepted my request and have listened to my voice.
The time has come when my Immaculate Heart must be glorified by the Church and by all humanity because, in these times of the apostasy, of the purification and of the great tribulation, my Immaculate Heart is the only refuge and the way which leads you to the God of salvation and of peace. Above all, my Immaculate Heart becomes today the sign of my sure victory, in the great struggle which is being fought out between the followers of the huge Red Dragon and the followers of the Woman Clothed with the Sun.
In this terrible struggle, there comes up from the sea, to the aid of the Dragon, a beast like a leopard. If the Red Dragon is Marxist atheism, the black beast is Freemasonry. The Dragon manifests himself in the force of his power; the black beast on the other hand acts in the shadow, keeps out of sight and hides himself in such a way as to enter in everywhere. He has the claws of a bear and the mouth of a lion, because he works everywhere with cunning and with the means of social communication, that is to say, through propaganda. The seven heads indicate the various Masonic lodges, which act everywhere in a subtle and dangerous way.
This black beast has ten horns and, on the horns, ten crowns, which are signs of dominion and royalty. Masonry rules and governs throughout the whole world by means of the ten horns. The horn, in the biblical world, has always been an instrument of amplification, a way of making one's voice better heard, a strong means of communication.
For this reason, God communicated his will to his people by means of ten horns which made his law known: the ten commandments. The one who accepts them and observes them walks in life along the road of the divine will, of joy and of peace. The one who does the will of the Father accepts the word of his Son and shares in the redemption accomplished by Him. Jesus gives to souls the very divine life, through grace, that He won for us through his sacrifice carried out on Calvary.
The grace of the redemption is communicated by means of the seven sacraments. With grace there becomes implanted in the soul the seeds of supernatural life which are the virtues. Among these, the most important are the three theological and the four cardinal virtues: faith, hope, charity, prudence, fortitude, justice and temperance. In the divine sun of the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, these virtues germinate, grow, becomes more and more developed and thus lead the soul along the luminous way of love and of sanctity.
The aim of Masonry: blaspheming God
The task of the black beast, namely of Masonry, is that of fighting, in a subtle way, but tenaciously, to obstruct souls from traveling along this way, pointed out by the Father and the Son and lighted up by the gifts of the Spirit. In fact if the Red Dragon works to bring all humanity to do without God, to the denial of God, and therefore spreads the error of atheism, the aim of Masonry is not to deny God, but to blaspheme Him. The beast opens his mouth to utter blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name and his dwelling place, and against all those who dwell in heaven. The greatest blasphemy is that of denying the worship due to God alone by giving it to creatures and to Satan himself. This is why in these times, behind the perverse action of Freemasonry, there are being spread everywhere black masses and the satanic cult. Moreover Masonic acts, by every means, to prevent souls from being saved and thus it endeavors to bring to nothing the redemption accomplished by Christ.
If the Lord has communicated his law with the ten commandments, Freemasonry spreads everywhere, through the power of its ten horns, a law which is completely opposed to that of God.
To the commandment of the Lord: “You shall not have any other God but me,” it builds other false idols, before which many today prostrate themselves in adoration.
To the commandment : “You shall not take the name of God in vain,” it sets itself up in opposition by blaspheming God and his Christ, in many subtle and diabolical ways, even to reducing his Name indecorously to the level of a brand-name of an object of sale and of producing sacrilegious films concerning his life and his divine Person.
To the commandment: “Remember to keep holy the Sabbath Day,” it transforms the Sunday into a weekend, into a day of sports, of competitions and of entertainments.
To the commandment: “Honor your father and your mother,” it opposes a new model of family based on cohabitation, even between homosexuals.
To the commandment: “You shall not commit impure acts,” it justifies, exalts and propagates every form of impurity, even to the justification of acts against nature.
To the commandment: “You shall not kill,” it has succeeded in making abortion legal everywhere, in making euthanasia acceptable, and in causing respect due to the value of human life to all but disappear.
To the commandment: “You shall not steal,” it works to the end that theft, violence, kidnapping and robbery spread more and more.
To the commandment: “You shall not bear false witness,” it acts in such a way that the law of deceit, lying and duplicity becomes more and more propagated.
To the commandment: “You shall not covet the goods and the wife of another,” it works to corrupt in the depths of the conscience, betraying the mind and the heart of man.
In this way souls become driven along the perverse and wicked road of disobedience to the laws of the Lord, become submerged in sin and are thus prevented from receiving the gift of grace and of the life of God.
To the seven theological and cardinal virtues, which are the fruit of living in the grace of God, Freemasonry counters with the diffusion of the seven capital vices, which are the fruit of living habitually in the state of sin. To faith it opposes pride; to hope, lust; to charity, avarice; to prudence, anger; to fortitude, sloth; to justice, envy; to temperance, gluttony.
Whoever becomes a victim of the seven capital vices is gradually led to take away the worship that is due to God alone, in order to give it to false divinities, who are the very personification of all these vices. And in this consists the greatest and most horrible blasphemy. This is why on every head of the beats there is written a blasphemous name. Each Masonic lodge has the task of making a different divinity adored.
The first head bears the blasphemous name of pride, which opposes itself to the virtue of faith, and leads one to offer worship to the god of human reason and haughtiness, of technology and progress.
The second head bears the blasphemous name of lust, which opposes itself to the virtue of hope, and brings one to offer worship to the god of sexuality and of impurity.
The third head bears the blasphemous name of avarice, which opposes itself to the virtue of charity, and spreads everywhere the worship of the god of money.
The fourth head bears the blasphemous name of anger, which opposes itself to the virtue of prudence, and leads one to offer worship to the god of discord and division.
The fifth head bears the blasphemous name of sloth, which opposes itself to the virtue of fortitude, and disseminates the worship of the idol of fear of public opinion and of exploitation.
The sixth head bears the blasphemous name of envy, which opposes itself to the virtue of justice, and leads one to offer worship to the idol of violence and of war.
The seventh head beats the blasphemous name of gluttony, which opposes itself to the virtue of temperance, and leads one to offer worship to the so highly extolled idol of hedonism, of materialism and of pleasure.
The task of the Masonic lodges is that of working today, with great astuteness, to bring humanity everywhere to disdain the holy law of God, to work in open opposition to the ten commandments, and to take away the worship due to God alone in order to offer it to certain false idols which become extolled and adored by an ever increasing number of people: reason ,flesh, money, discord, domination, violence, pleasure. Thus souls are precipitated into the dark slavery of evil, of vice and of sin and, at the moment of death and of the judgment of God, into the pool of eternal fire which is hell.
Now you understand how, in these times, against the terrible and insidious attack of the black beast, namely of Masonry, my Immaculate Heart becomes your refuge and the sure road which brings you to God. In my Immaculate Heart there is delineated the tactic made use of by your heavenly Mother, to fight back against and to defeat the subtle plot made use of by the black beast.
For this reason I am training all my children to observe the ten commandments of God; to live the Gospel to the letter; to make frequent use of the sacraments, especially those of penance and eucharistic communion, as necessary helps in order to remain in the grace of God; to practice the virtues vigorously; to walk away along the path of goodness, of love, of purity and of holiness.
Thus I am making use of you, my little children who have consecrated yourselves to me, to unmask all these subtle snares which the black beast sets for you and to make futile in the end the great attack which Masonry has launched today against Christ and his Church. And in the end, especially in his greatest defeat, there will appear in all its splendor, the triumph of my Immaculate Heart in the world.”
On June 3rd of that same year, Our Lady spoke the following words to Fr. Gobbi:

France: Catholic cemeteries desecrated
A report of the Gendarmerie Nationale underlines the fact that most desecrations since 2005 have been aimed at Catholic cemeteries and hallowed places. "Desecrators usually act on the 30th of April, which is in the mean time the birthday of Hitler and of the foundation of the Church of Satan in the United States." Full article here.

Pope Benedict XVI: "It is the faith of the simple that knocks down false gods."
As I said in a previous post, "Our culture - and this includes large segments of the Church - has succumbed to satanic pride. As the sexual abuse crisis explodes throughout the Church, as errors cripple the Mystical Body of Christ, as the Culture of Sodomy continues to metastasize like a cancer, officials in the Church hold committee meetings and form panels and conduct studies. All in the vain hope of solving these problems themselves. Pride. What then is the solution? It is right before our eyes. But it is so simple the proud of this world are not capable of seeing it:
Satan,
proud-winged!
Bold and brazen,
Crushed by
Simple
Sandalled Maiden!
It was Saint Louis de Montfort who explained that, "Mary must become as terrible as an army in battle array to the devil and his followers, especially in these latter times. For Satan, knowing that he has little time - even less now than ever - to destroy souls, intensifies his efforts and his onslaughts every day. He will not hesitate to stir up savage persecutions and set treacherous snares for Mary's faithful servants and children whom he finds more difficult to overcome than others.
It is chiefly in reference to these last wicked persecutions of the devil, daily increasing until the advent of the reign of anti- Christ, that we should understand that first and well-known prophecy and curse of God uttered against the serpent in the garden of paradise. It is opportune to explain it here for the glory of the Blessed Virgin, the salvation of her children and the confusion of the devil. "I will place enmities between you and the woman, between your race and her race; she will crush your head and you will lie in wait for her heel" (Gen. 3:15).
God has established only one enmity - but it is an irreconcilable one - which will last and even go on increasing to the end of time. That enmity is between Mary, his worthy Mother, and the devil, between the children and the servants of the Blessed Virgin and the children and followers of Lucifer.
Thus the most fearful enemy that God has set up against the devil is Mary, his holy Mother. From the time of the earthly paradise, although she existed then only in his mind, he gave her such a hatred for his accursed enemy, such ingenuity in exposing the wickedness of the ancient serpent and such power to defeat, overthrow and crush this proud rebel, that Satan fears her not only more than angels and men but in a certain sense more than God himself. This does not mean that the anger, hatred and power of God are not infinitely greater than the Blessed Virgin's, since her attributes are limited. It simply means that Satan, being so proud, suffers infinitely more in being vanquished and punished by a lowly and humble servant of God, for her humility humiliates him more than the power of God. Moreover, God has given Mary such great power over the evil spirits that, as they have often been forced unwillingly to admit through the lips of possessed persons, they fear one of her pleadings for a soul more than the prayers of all the saints, and one of her threats more than all their other torments.
What Lucifer lost by pride Mary won by humility. What Eve ruined and lost by disobedience Mary saved by obedience. By obeying the serpent, Eve ruined her children as well as herself and delivered them up to him. Mary by her perfect fidelity to God saved her children with herself and consecrated them to his divine majesty.
God has established not just one enmity but "enmities", and not only between Mary and Satan but between her race and his race. That is, God has put enmities, antipathies and hatreds between the true children and servants of the Blessed Virgin and the children and slaves of the devil. They have no love and no sympathy for each other. The children of Belial, the slaves of Satan, the friends of the world, - for they are all one and the same - have always persecuted and will persecute more than ever in the future those who belong to the Blessed Virgin, just as Cain of old persecuted his brother Abel, and Esau his brother Jacob. These are the types of the wicked and of the just. But the humble Mary will always triumph over Satan, the proud one, and so great will be her victory that she will crush his head, the very seat of his pride. She will unmask his serpent's cunning and expose his wicked plots. She will scatter to the winds his devilish plans and to the end of time will keep her faithful servants safe from his cruel claws.
But Mary's power over the evil spirits will especially shine forth in the latter times, when Satan will lie in wait for her heel, that is, for her humble servants and her poor children whom she will rouse to fight against him. In the eyes of the world they will be little and poor and, like the heel, lowly in the eyes of all, down-trodden and crushed as is the heel by the other parts of the body. But in compensation for this they will be rich in God's graces, which will be abundantly bestowed on them by Mary. They will be great and exalted before God in holiness. They will be superior to all creatures by their great zeal and so strongly will they be supported by divine assistance that, in union with Mary, they will crush the head of Satan with their heel, that is, their humility, and bring victory to Jesus Christ." (True Devotion to Mary, 50-54).
Pope John XXIII looked forward to a New Pentecost and Pope John Paul II spoke of a new Civilization of Love. And we shall have these. Even if they do not occur in the manner most people expect. In many places a cleansing, a purification is needed in individual temples before the Holy Spirit will enter with His Bride. We read in the Gospel of Matthew how, "Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all those engaged in selling and buying there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves. And he said to them, 'It is written: My house shall be a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of thieves.'" (21: 12, 13).
And what is our soul but His temple? Have we made His house a house of prayer? Or have we succumbed to lust, materialism and pride and made His house a den of thieves who have no place there? We have to become Marian. We have to become Mary-like before Christ is reborn again in our modern world through the power of the Holy Spirit.
There will indeed be a New Pentecost in the hearts of men and a Civilization of Love which will endure forever. But only after the Church has been purified through Calvary:
"Before Christ's second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the "mystery of iniquity" in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 675).
Satan's goal is to make a physical and spiritual wreckage of all God's creation. To accomplish this, he enlists men through the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life. And isn't this what we've witnessed even in the Church? Priests - ministers of the Living God - who have become so arrogant, so puffed up with pride, that they came to view even innocent children as objects to be used for their own sexual gratification and a laity which has also [for the most part] lost the sense of sin and no longer feels a need to confess and live a truly sacramental life.
Pride has brought the Church to her present state. We must become more Mary-like. We don't need more committee meetings, panels, studies, seminars and countless "experts" - men and women with a string of letters after their names but lacking wisdom - to bring us back to sanity. They are not up to the task. If a blind man lead another blind man, both end up in a ditch.
We need holy men and women who are on fire for the Lord Jesus and who recognize their poverty, their smallness. What we need is children of Mary - the same children (despised by this proud world) whom Saint Louis de Montfort says, "..will become, in Mary's powerful hands, like sharp arrows, with which she will transfix her enemies." (True Devotion, No. 56), It is such prayer-warriors who "..will be like thunder-clouds flying through the air at the slightest breath of the Holy Spirit. Attached to nothing, surprised at nothing, troubled at nothing, they will shower down the rain of God's word and of eternal life. They will thunder against sin, they will storm against the world, they will strike down the devil and his followers and for life and for death, they will pierce through and through with the two-edged sword of God's word all those against whom they are sent by almighty God." (True Devotion, No. 57).
This isn't a time for hand-wringing. Neither is it a time to look to so-called "experts," intellectual frauds who rely on their own intelligence. Fools. Now is the time to have recourse to Mary. The victory has been promised to the simple sandalled maiden. This is something the proud cannot understand or accept. Our Lady will crush the Devil's head - the seat of his intellect - and she will accomplish this without an academic degree or countless meetings. She will accomplish what the proud cannot. And she will do this through her children, her heel, those little souls consecrated to her."
And so, remembering the words of the Cure of Ars St. Jean Vianney (the Patron Saint of parish priests): "Humility is to the various virtues what the chain is to the Rosary; take away the chain and the beads are scattered, remove humility and all virtues vanish," we pray:
O Lord,
all our powers of body and spirit,
every gift both natural and supernatural,
outward and inward,
comes as a blessing from You
and reveals Your goodness,
generosity, and love,
for You have given us all that is good.
You know what is best to give each one;
and since it is clear
to You what each one's merits are,
it is for You and not for us to decide
why one has less and another more.
And so, O Lord God,
I can even consider it a great blessing
if I do not have much to bring me
praise and glory from man;
for when one does not have much,
he can look at his poverty and worthlessness,
and far from being burdened and sorrowful and dejected,
he can feel comforted and glad,
for it is the poor and humble
and despised in the eyes of the world
that You have chosen,
O god, to be familiar members
of Your household.
- Thomas A. Kempis
Satan,
proud-winged!
Father Bryan Hehir is calling for a New Global Order
Michael Rivero, in an article entitled "Why I am opposed to a One-World Government," writes: "There is nothing new about one-world rule. From a political and economic point of view, ruling the world means controlling everything one can reach that is worth controlling. Alexander the Great conquered the whole world that he could reach, and the treatment of those he conquered serves as a model for the realities of life under a world dictatorship.
Rome also conquered pretty much the whole world that it was aware of (until it hit Germania). Life was pretty good if you happened to live in the capital city within walking distance of the Colloseum and the Circus Maximus, but everywhere else life was made harsh by Roman rule, else there would have been no need for legions located across the empire to stamp out rebellions by the tax-weary populace. All conquerors like to boast that they are a benefit to the conquered, but common sense and history shows this to be a self-serving lie. Whether you are Caesar or Hitler, if you use military might to force your way of life on another, then the people being forced clearly do not agree that the way of life of the conquerors is a blessing.
One-world rule is great for the rulers, but terrible for the ruled. My opposition to a One-World Government is based on two arguments, one obvious, and one subtle.
The obvious argument against a One-World Government is that while the New World Order groupies imagine a One-World Government with a benevolent Santa Claus in charge, the reality is that power will attract the very sort of people who should not have it, who will do anything to get it, and therefore once they have it, will do anything with it.
Human history proves that as soon as we are all slaves to a One-World Government, it is inevitable that this government will fall into the hands of another Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, or Torquemada. No purported safeguards can prevent that from happening. Hitler was elected by the German people, and our own recent history proves that elections can be rigged by powerful individuals or agencies.
Past genocidal monsters were stopped because the nations they ruled, however powerful, were only one out of many. Those other nations were then able to band together to stop the single monster, as was the case in World War II.
What happens if a One-World Government falls into the hands of another Hitler? The people of the world would be no more able to stop a new Hitler than the people of Germany were able to stop the first one. Imagine the world today if Hitler had won WW II. That is the world which MUST sooner or later come to exist, cannot help but come to exist, under a One-World Government. That danger alone, of the creation of a one-world dictatorship waiting to be plucked as a prize by the most ruthless cutthroat the species can breed, is alone reason to abandon the suggestion of a One-World Government.
The second reason to avoid a One-World Government is a bit more subtle. The creation of such a One-World Government pre-supposes that the very structure of such a government is the best of all possible systems under which people could be ruled. But every system ever created assumes that they are the best possible system. The Egyptians believed that. So did the Romans. So did the Confederacy. And the rulers of such systems, being the beneficiaries, worked hard to preserve those systems and to crush out examples of alternative systems that might actually be better ones.
The process by which one social system replaces others is a process of evolution. Under a One-World Government, such social evolution would stop. There would be no tolerance for alternative systems, no experimentation with new social orders, no possibility of recovery from socio-political trends detrimental to the people. The political structure of the New World Order would be no more tolerant of alternatives than are the two established parties of the United States, the Republicans and the Democrats (which are in reality two faces of the same oligarchy).
It is impossible to claim that the perfect socio-political system has been found, yet the establishment of a One-World Government is founded on the very assumption that it is the perfect socio-political system, and that therefore no corner of the world should be allowed to rule themselves with a different system."
There are many, even within the Church, who are working to undermine the Mystical Body of Christ so that she too will be subjected to a New World Order, a Socialist One-World Government which will be built on a new foundation: one which demands that Christianity be emptied of its supernatural dimension and thereby rendered impotent. As Father Livio Fanzaga notes, "Marxism prophesied a future in which man will satisfy all his human needs and enjoy paradise on earth. Such will result in the demise of faith in God. Paradise will be achieved by peace, progress and labor for all."
One individual who has called for a new global order is Father Bryan Hehir of the Boston Archdiocese. In an article aptly titled "Wanted: a new global order," Fr. Hehir, while noting that "The Christian Church has the capacity to make a special contribution to the globalisation debate," insists that "the Church has something to teach and much to learn" and that as the world "sets about building the necessary structures" [for this new global order], globalisation calls for "a leap forward in ideas and institutions."
As I said in a previous post, "..the Earth Charter is 'a declaration of fundamental principles for building a just, sustainable, and peaceful global society in the 21st century.' The Earth Charter Commission hopes that the Charter will become the common standard "by which the conduct of all individuals, organizations, businesses, governments, and transnational institutions [such as the Roman Catholic Church, my note] is to be guided and assessed.' The globalists who are behind the Earth Charter seek to promote a New Age religion which will neutralize the supernatural faith of Roman Catholicism. In the words of Archbishop Javier Lozano Barragan, 'Clearly, we are faced with the total denial of Christianity.'...many of those who are pushing the Earth Charter Initiative believe that the Ten Commandments are "out of date" and must be replaced by a new paradigm. There is institutionalized apostasy. Many in the Christian community (including many Catholic priests and religious) are agitating for this emerging new religion.

Does the Constitution on the Church lack credibility for Father J. Bryan Hehir?
Father J. Bryan Hehir of the Boston Archdiocese believes the Catholic Church has lost credibility because a small percentage of her priests have engaged in sexual abuse. His solution? In an interview which may be found here, the dissident priest whose "social justice conference" has raised many eyebrows, asks, "..what do we do to regain credibility" and then proceeds to answer his own question: "..my view is, as a kind of simple principle, that we've got to treat adults as adults in the Church. We now have in the United States the most educated laity the Catholic Church has confronted in 2,000 years of history. You can't have a situation where men and women are in charge of their lives, treated as adults in corporations, universities, and politics, and are not treated as adults inside the Church....
The question of how to mobilize discussion among the leadership comes partly from laity who understand what a significant strategic role they are now in. A hundred years ago, this discussion would have been inconceivable in American Catholicism--that you would have this kind of room, at this kind of university, on this kind of topic. I'm not calling for revolution. I don't think that works in the Catholic Church. I do think that there's a range of definable, discussible issues on which the laity need to say at the parish level and every other level, we simply won't accept anything except adult conversation."
The idea that the laity are not treated as adults within the Church is both insulting and wrong. Vatican II, in its Decree on the Mission Activity of the Church (Ad Gentes), has this to say: "The Church has not been really founded and is not yet fully alive, nor is it a perfect sign of Christ among men, unless there is a laity worthy of the name working along with the hierarchy. For the Gospel cannot be deeply grounded in the abilities, life and work of any people without the active presence of laymen. Therefore, even at the very founding of a chrch, great attention is to be paid to establishing a mature, Christian laity. For the lay faithful fully belong at one and the same time both to the People of God and to civil society...They also belong to Christ, because they were regenerated in the Church by faith and by Baptism, so that they are Christ's in newness of life and work (cf. 1 Cor 15: 23), in order that in Christ, all things may be made subject to God, and finally God will be all in all (cf. 1 Cor 15: 28)." (Ad Gentes, No. 21).
What exactly is Fr. Hehir talking about when he speaks of "adult conversation"? What he means - what he is really proposing - is indeed a revolution in the Church. Which is why he says, "A hundred years ago, this discussion [the push for a "democratic church" where the laity vote for Bishops and decide Church teaching by majority consensus - which is what VOTF means by "structural change"] would have been inconceivable in American Catholicism."
Why would it have been inconceivable? Because the push for such "structural change" is really a push for apostasy from the Mystical Body of Christ. The laity of 100 years ago were too strong in faith (fortes in fide) to be propagandized into revolution. Now that the Church has been undermined from within and so many of the "educated laity" are really poorly educated as to what the Church actually teaches, they are more malleable.
The same Vatican II which called for a "mature Christian laity" also teaches that, "Bishops, teaching in communion with the Roman Pontiff, are to be respected by all as witnesses to divine and Catholic truth. In matters of faith and morals, the bishops speak in the name of Christ and the faithful are to accept their teaching and adhere to it with a religious assent. This religious submission of mind and will must be shown in a special way to the authentic magisterium of the Roman Pontiff, even when he is not speaking ex cathedra.." (Lumen Gentium, No. 25).
What Father Hehir is really advocating is a sort of ersatz "magisterium" where the laity express their demands to the Church's hierarchy and a majority vote in the Church overrides the hierarchy. This is euphemistically referred to as "adult conversation." Pope John Paul II warned in his Encyclical Letter Veritatis Splendor (The Splendor of Truth) that, "While exchanges and conflicts of opinion may constitute normal expressions of public life in a representative democracy, moral teaching certainly cannot depend upon respect for a process: indeed, it is no way established by following the rules and deliberative procedures typical of a democracy. Dissent, in the form of carefully orchestrated protests and polemics carried on in the media, is opposed to ecclesial communion and to a correct understanding of the hierarchical constitution of the People of God." (No. 113).
The Church is hierarchical in nature. This is what so angers the proponents of revolution in the Church. And Father Hehir is no exception. But the Fathers of Vatican II speak clearly:
"..the task of authentically interpreting the word of God, whether written or handed on, has been entrusted exclusively to the living teaching office of the Church, whose authority is exercised in the name of Jesus Christ. This teaching office is not above the word of God, but serves it, teaching only what has been handed on, listening to it devoutly, guarding it scrupulously and explaining it faithfully in accord with a divine commission and with the help of the Holy Spirit, it draws from this one deposit of faith everything which it presents for belief as divinely revealed." (Dogmatic Constitution on Divine Revelation (Dei Verbum), No. 10).

The Apostasy Spreads
"At the same time, he [Robert Hugh Benson] also warns of a great danger for the Church which has to do with the 'great seduction' - the 'great prostitute' the Book of the Apocalypse calls it - that is, humanitarian religion. Only the Church, reduced to a tiny flock will resist. The Church will be tempted to follow the path of humanitarianism which would reduce Christianity to a form of humanism in which Christ is regarded merely as a man - although the greatest man ever born...At the same time, Benson foresaw that the tiny flock - of Paul VI - would resist the reduction of Christianity to humanitarian religion and that it would be branded a public enemy of the people and of progress. It would be accused of being out of step with the times and of belonging to the Middle Ages. Thus, Benson has prophesied [in his book The Lord of the World] both the seduction and the persecution of those who would uphold the supernatural dimension of Christianity." (Fr. Livio Fanzaga, Wrath of God: The Days of the Antichrist, p. 128).
Just prior to the Reign of Antichrist, Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser tells us that, "During this unhappy period there will be laxity in divine and human precepts. Discipline will suffer. The Holy Canons will be completely disregarded, and the clergy will not respect the law of the Church. Everyone will be carried away and led to believe and to do what he fancies, according to the manner of the flesh. They will ridicule Christian simplicity ; they will call it folly and nonsense, but they will have the highest regard for advanced knowledge...As a result no principle at all- however holy, authentic, ancient, and certain it may be, will remain free of censure, criticism, false interpretations, modifications, and delimitation by man.
These are evil times a century full of dangers and calamities. Heresy is everywhere, and the followers of heresy are in power, almost everywhere. Bishops, prelates, and priests say that they are doing their duty, that they are vigilant and that they live as befits their state of life. In like manner therefore they all seek excuses. But God will permit a great evil against His Church; Heretics and tyrants will come suddenly and unexpectedly; they will break into the Church while Bishops prelates and priests are asleep. They will enter Italy and lay Rome waste; they will burn down the churches and destroy everything."
The Reign of Antichrist will witness a celebration of sin and perversion the likes of which few can imagine. Pleasure is the new principle par excellence. If pleasure can justify homosexual behavior (and increasingly that is what our sin-sick society is saying), then other deviant forms of sexual activity which are viewed as pleasurable by some will also be logically justified. This will include pedophilia, pederasty, ephebophilia, gerontophilia, necrophilia, sadism, masochism and bestiality.
Marriage is being redefined everywhere. In Canada, where polygamy has been illegal since the nineteenth century, the Supreme Court in British Columbia is going to decide whether or not the law prohibiting polygamy is constitutional. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches clearly that "polygamy is not in accord with the moral law" and that "Conjugal communion is radically contradicted by polygamy" (CCC, 2387). Which is exactly why some are anxious to legitimize it. "No principle, however holy..."
Father Pascal Huchede writes, "...how shall he [Antichrist] deprive the world of Christianity and have himself adored as God? Alas, it is only too true that the minds and hearts of men are admirably disposed for revolution and consequently ready to accept and bear the cruel yoke of such a tyrant..." And then, after noting that men will abandon the reasonable and supernatural religion of Jesus Christ to worship the demon, Fr. Huchede adds, "What frightful immorality must follow in the train of this shameless prostitution of religion! Never has the threefold concupiscence made greater ravage among mankind. And this is the religion sought and hoped for as the cherished boon of the aspirations of our modern free thinkers." (History of Antichrist, pp. 13-14).

Archbishop John C. Nienstedt denies Holy Communion to Homosexual Activists
The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, in its document entitled Considerations Regarding Proposals to Give Legal Recognition to Unions Between Homosexual Persons, warns that even where homosexual unions have been legalized, "clear and emphatic opposition is a duty." (No. 5). This important document stresses that, "any kind of formal cooperation in the enactment or application of such gravely unjust laws" and even any "material cooperation on the level of their application" must be avoided. "In this area," states the document, "everyone can exercise the right to conscientious objection."
Considerations makes it abundantly clear that, "The Church teaches that respect for homosexual persons cannot lead in any way to approval of homosexual behavior or to considerations of homosexual unions." (No. 11). In other words, there can be no doubt that all Catholics have a moral duty to oppose the homosexual agenda. Homosexual activists are not properly disposed to receive the Eucharist, which is "properly the sacrament of those who are in full communion with the Church." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1395; Canon 915, CIC).
Since all Catholics have a moral duty to oppose the homosexual agenda, Father Thomas Massaro's involvement with the Cambridge Peace Commission may be seen as all the more disturbing. As I noted in a previous post:
It should be noted that Father Massaro is a member of the Cambridge Peace Commission, an organization intimately linked with the GLBT agenda. Recently the Cambridge Lavender Alliance honored Cathy Hoffman of the Cambridge Peace Commission for her "exemplary activism." Additionally, this past May the Cambridge Peace Commission held its 12th Cambridge Peace and Justice Awards and an award was given to Sarav Chidambaram of the Cambridge GLBT Commission. Mr. Chidambaram "was chosen for his work as an advocate and activist within the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community."
Mr. Chidambaram is on the Board of Directors of MassEquality, a radical homosexual activist group which promotes same-sex "marriage." Did Fr. Massaro vote for Mr. Chidambaram to receive an award for his homosexual activism? Is Cardinal Sean O'Malley concerned at all about this?

Father J. Bryan Hehir and Radical Feminist Mary E. Hunt: Marxist-Christian Agitators
Back in the 1980s, the Institute for Policy Studies’ Washington School offered a course entitled “Matthew, Marx, Luke and John: Theology of the Oppressed.” Guest-speakers for this course included Father Bryan Hehir and radical feminist Mary E. Hunt, the co-founder and co-director of the Women’s Alliance for Theology, Ethics and Ritual (WATER) which is located in Silver Spring, Maryland. Ms. Hunt also served as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Women’s Studies at Georgetown University for five years and has taught and lectured at numerous other institutions.
In her book “Ungodly Rage: The Hidden Face of Catholic Feminism,” Catholic author Donna Steichen describes Mary Hunt as “the compleat feminist theologian.” Steichen notes that “WATER is a member of Women-Church Convergence. Hunt is also an uncloseted lesbian who serves on the board of directors of New Ways Ministry and is active with the Conference for Catholic Lesbians, a member of a Washington Women-Church group called Sisters Against Sexism, a policy advisor to Women’s Ordination Conference and a member of CFFC’s board of directors.”
Steichen notes how Mary Hunt gave a talk entitled “Being Church in the Twenty-first Century” in which the disgruntled feminist with a penchant for Marxist ideology predicted that, “lesbian and gay people in church will become as common as candles” because “the choice will be welcoming diversity or dying on the vine as the people of God.” Steichen then notes that for Ms. Hunt, “Such ‘diversity’ will mean ‘a shift of power’ in decision-making authority from the hierarchy to ‘the people who are the Church’; a priesthood open to women, homosexuals male and female and the married; ‘celebration of the goodness’ of remarriage after divorce, and homosexual marriage. ‘The reality will come first; the theology will come next.’ Like others in Women-Church, she said, her own hope is for an end to the ordained priesthood and the emergence of a Church without hierarchy.” (Ungodly Rage, pp. 108-110).
Beginning on page 343 of Ungodly Rage, Steichen provides some background on WATER. She writes, “Women’s Alliance for Theology, Ethics and Ritual (WATER) founded in 1983, is rarely called by its full name. Foundress Mary Hunt became a feminist at Harvard Divinity School, under Ruether [Rosemary Radford] and liberation theologian Juan Luis Segundo, S.J., before going on to Berkeley’s GTU for her double doctorate. There she met WATER’s co-foundress, co-director and chief ritualist, Diann Neu, then a nun. Neu holds a GTU master’s degree in sacred theology and an exaggerated view of her own qualifications. In October 1988, at a CFFC ‘reproductive options’ conference in Albuquerque, Neu said that she came to her ‘approach’ to ‘reproductive rights’ with ‘all the training and experience to be a bishop in my church.’..
Hunt is active in Conference for Catholic Lesbians (CCL), a homosexual ‘support group’ born of Women-Church in 1983. Her involvement, she says, ‘certainly emerges out of my own life, loving women, and living in a committed relationship with a woman.’ She airs her odd religious views in WATERwheel, WATER’s quarterly newsletter. In one edition, she says that a theological image of ‘divine child abuse’ – God the Father ‘carrying out’ the death of his own son – explains the prevalence of abuse in society. Oppression springs from ‘the notion of an all-powerful God’, which provides ‘a role model’ for the powerful while crushing the ‘disempowered.’ Violence is further encouraged, she says, by ‘the glorification of martyrs’ and of the crucified Christ.” (Ungodly Rage, pp. 343-344).
And so we have a better sense of who “the oppressed” are for Marxist-Christians such as Father Bryan Hehir and Mary Hunt. The institutional Church becomes the enemy of the masses, of the new “people of God” who have been oppressed by patriarchy and authoritarianism. The poor and the “oppressed” (and this includes women who desire ordination to the ministerial priesthood and homosexuals and lesbians who clamor for same-sex “marriage”) must liberate the Gospel and re-orient the Scriptures toward socio-political problems and reinterpret them to advance the Future-Church.
Fr. Vincent Miceli, S.J., referring to these Marxist-Christian agitators and propagators of a pseudo-Church, describes them as "infected..with the activist dialectics of the class struggle and violent revolution" and because of this "they go beyond dialogue to distortion and anathema against the faith, the Magisterium, the whole Church. Such is their furor against the Church that, in opposing her teaching, they eviscerate the authentic Gospel revelation, demote Christ to the level of a mere man, the Church to the level of a mere natural institution and render Christianity meaningless." (Essay entitled Christian Marxism: Sacrilegious Demagoguery).

Symptom of the Virus: Immodesty in Dress
"On Saturday afternoon, I visited Our Lady of Grace Parish in Pepperell to mark their one-year anniversary. Our Lady of Grace was formed in 2009 from the merger of St. Joseph Parish in Pepperell and St. James-Sacred Heart Parish in Groton." - Cardinal Sean O'Malley, at his Blog.
At Fatima (1917), Our Lady said that, "Certain fashions will be introduced that will offend Our Lord very much." Sadly, such fashions may be found even in Catholic parishes. This is the direct result of a lack of reverence before sacred mysteries. Dietrich von Hildebrand explains that, "..lack of reverence may have two roots...the first is to be found in pride. The man who lacks reverence because of pride and arrogance approaches everything with conceit and presumption, imagines that he knows everything, that he sees through everything....The world holds no mystery for him. He treats everything tactlessly, with easy familiarity...There is..another form of irreverence, one which is born of concupiscence. The concupiscent man is interested in the world only as a means of procuring pleasure for himself...
The lack of reverence is a specific defect of our age. On the one hand, the feeling of reverence is undermined by the increasing technicalization and instrumentalization of the world wherein everything is considered only as a means for the attainment of practical aims, and being is not allowed to be taken seriously. On the other hand, the attitude of self-glorification is increased in man by progress in the knowledge of secondary causes and by the conquest of the physical world. This makes us forget that 'He has made us and we have not made ourselves.' It makes the shortsighted intoxicated with superficial knowledge so that they overlook the causa prima because of the causae secundae" (Liturgy and Personality, pp. 49, 51-52).
How important is modesty? Saint John Chrysostom warned the immodest that:
"You carry your snare everywhere and spread your nets in all places. You allege that you never invited others to sin. You did not, indeed, by your words, but you have done so by your dress and your deportment, and much more effectively than you could by your voice. When you have made another sin in his heart, how can you be innocent? Tell me, whom does this world condemn? Whom do judges in court punish? Those who drink poison or those who prepare it and administer the fatal potion? You have prepared the abominable cup, you have given the death-dealing drink, and you are more criminal than are those who poison the body; you murder not the body, but the soul. And it is not to enemies that you do this, nor are you urged on by any imaginary necessity, nor provoked by injury, but out of foolish vanity and pride."
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches us that, "Purity requires modesty, an integral part of temperance. Modesty protects the intimate center of the person. It means refusing to unveil what should remain hidden. It is ordered to chastity to whose sensitivity it bears witness." (2521). And, "..modesty exists as an intuition of the spiritual dignity proper to man. It is born with the awakening consciousness of being a subject. Teaching modesty to children and adolescents means awakening in them respect for the human person." (2524).
Bearing this in mind, let's examine the photograph taken during Cardinal O'Malley's trip to Our Lady of Grace Parish in Pepperell, Massachusetts. This photograph may also be found at the Cardinal's Blog. Are these adolescent girls being taught modesty? Respect for the human person? How about respect for the Lord Jesus Who is truly present in the Holy Eucharist?
What's wrong with this picture? It is yet another symptom of what Bishop Rene Gracida has so aptly titled "The Boston Virus."

Symptom of the Virus: Archdiocese of Boston to close more parishes according to speculation
Christ describes frightening scenes for us. The last days preceding the second coming will be marked by a final trial which will shake the faith of many believers. Jesus asks: 'But when the Son of Man comes will he find any faith on earth?' (Lk 8: 28). This is a mysterious phrase but its immediate meaning cannot be eluded. Only a 'little flock' will persevere in the faith until the end, awaiting the Lord's coming. The greater part of mankind, including many believers, will have lost the faith. In another context Jesus adds to the eclipse of faith a cooling of charity. Indeed, it is not possible to lose one without losing the other.
Thus he describes the 'trials' of the end times: 'Many false prophets will arise; they will deceive many, and with the increase of lawlessness, love in most men will grow cold; but the man who stands firm to the end will be saved' (Mt 24: 11). Jesus situates the the end of the world in the context of great apostasy from the faith. The rejection of Christianity by many who had adhered to it will take place in a world where the Gospel of the Kingdom has been proclaimed to the ends of the earth (cf. Mt 24: 14). The coming of Christ as judge will take place in a context of betrayal. - Fr. Livio Fanzaga

Father Thomas Massaro of the Cambridge Peace Commission and Mr. Sarav Chidambaram
Joe Sacerdo over at Bryan Hehir Exposed writes, "We’ve had it with the Archdiocese of Boston’s response to the dissent from Church teachings being permitted that continues to scandalize the faithful. An upcoming Boston conference is still featuring a backer of a pro-abortion politician. If you’re fed up also and want to let the Vatican know, we’ve made it really easy for you. (Click the “Fed Up” picture to take action immediately). This is the first move of what we’re calling the “Boston Catholic Tea Party.” The good news is that we now have a green light from the Boston Archdiocese to take our complaints to the Holy See!
On October 9, the archdiocese is sponsoring another Social Justice Conference, this time featuring Fr. Thomas Massaro, SJ from Boston College along with Fr. Bryan Hehir. Fr. Massaro, was one of 26 signatories to a public letter supporting the nomination of pro-abortion former Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius as U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services in the Obama administration. Three archbishops in Kansas City (see below for references) have rebuked her for her pro-abortion views that ran contrary to Church teachings, with Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann asking her to no longer receive Communion until she repudiated her stance and make a “worthy sacramental confession.” Our complaints about Fr. Hehir go back nearly 40 years, including his presiding over Catholic Charities of Boston when they brokered adoptions to gay couples and when they honored the pro-abort/pro-gay marriage Mayor of Boston, and his undermining Catholic teachings on abortion, Catholic conscience exemptions, women priests, and voting for pro-abortion politicians."
Mr. Chidambaram "was chosen for his work as an advocate and activist within the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender community." In a recent interview, Mr. Chidambaram said, "The kind of work I do is considered very controversial within our communities and I hardly get any acknowledgement for the work I do." If he thinks his work isn't acknowledged, he should try defending the authentic teaching of the Catholic Church. Such a task virtually guarantees pariah status. He continues, "..I accept [this award] as a pat on the back and an inspiration to do more." There you have it. The Cambridge Peace Commission award has inspired Mr. Chidambaram to continue working to undermine marriage and family life within our communities. Beautiful huh? See the full interview here.
Oh and by the way, Mr. Chidambaram also serves on the Board of Directors for MassEquality, a radical GLBT activist organization which promotes same-sex "marriage." And the logo above is from the website of the Cambridge Peace Commission. Many know this as a symbol from the 1960s representing peace. The symbol is actually used by occultists because it is an upside-down broken cross. It represents for such people the hoped-for defeat of Christianity. It is another way of mocking Christ.
