The Chastisement spreads...

Minute-by-minute Coronavirus update here

We were warned.  But the world has turned a deaf ear to the warnings of the Lord Jesus and His Blessed Mother.

Our Lady of America warned Sister Mary Ephrem (Mildred Neuzil) that:

Many unnatural acts are being committed in the name of love. This evil is being disguised and tolerated as an intrinsic right like any other. Even some of My priests and consecrated virgins are being caught up into this web of evil*, not realizing its terrible consequences. … there are those in high places in the Church who disobey...These betray the teachings inspired by the Divine Spirit sent by my Son to be with the Church til the end of time. …There are those who teach false doctrines, and those who repudiate the Holy Sacraments. They are filled with intellectual pride. And so refusing to follow my humble Son, they are being destroyed together with those who misguidedly follow them down the path of error and falsehood."

Today, homosexual acts, which are unnatural, are being promoted "in the name of love."  Professor Chai Feldblum, a homosexual activist, has said that, "Real change will come when the public recognizes gay love not just as morally neutral, but as morally good, to the same extent that straight love is good."

Father Albert Hebert, S.M., in his important book "Prophecies: The Chastisement and Purification," writes, "Today, persons great and lowly commit sin, deny it and even blasphemously call it virtue.  For example, active homosexuals and lesbians call their perverse practices 'love' and demand the legal status of normal married man and wife...That is wickedness which calls for destruction." (p. 79).

Is there really any doubt that the world is calling for chastisement?  In January of 1957, Our Lady told Sister Mary Ephrem: "The hour grows late. My Son's patience will not last forever. Help me hold back His anger, which is about to descend on sinful and ungrateful men. Suffering and anguish, such as never before experienced, is about to overtake mankind. It is the darkest hour. But if men will come to me, my Immaculate Heart will make it bright again with the mercy which my Son will rain down through my hands. Help me save those who will not save themselves. Help me bring once again the sunshine of God's peace upon the world."

Again, on December 20, 1959, Sister Ephrem writes, "Our Lady came to me again on December 20, 1959. These were her words to me as I understood them: 'O my child, tell your spiritual father that I come again to warn and to plead. Oh, penance, penance! How little my children understand it! They give me many words, but sacrifice themselves they will not. It is not me they love but themselves. Oh, what blindness, sweet child, what blindness! How it pierces my heart!

―See, I weep, but my children show me no compassion. They behold the sword in my heart but will make no move to withdraw it. I give them love; they give me only ingratitude.

―Weep, then, dear child, weep with your Mother over the sins of men. Inter-cede with me before the throne of mercy, for sin is overwhelming the world and punishment is not far away.'" (Our Lady of America, see here).

Do we hear God's voice today?  Do we hear the voice of His sorrowful Mother, pleading for us to reconcile with her Son?  Or have we become so secularized that we seek to extinguish the spirit while despising prophecies in direct violation of the exhortation of the Holy Spirit through St. Paul (1 Thess 5: 19-21)?

For a sane perspective, devoid of Cardinal O'Malley's disrespect for Holy Eucharist, see here.

Update: Cardinal Sean O'Malley suspends Communion on the tongue without the authority to do so.  See here

In its document entitled Redemptionis sacramentum, the Congregation for Divine Worship's 2004 instruction on certain matters to be observed or to be avoided regarding the Most Holy Eucharist, the CDW  notes that “each of the faithful always has the right to receive Holy Communion on the tongue, at his choice.”

At Santa Marta, Francis once again spreads his delusion...

At Santa Marta, Francis once again referred to Catholics who believe God is both Mercy and Justice as "rigid."  See here.

In one of his sermons, Saint Alphonsus de Liguori warned, "'But God is merciful.'  Behold another common delusion by which the Devil encourages sinners to persevere in a life of sin!  A certain author has said that more souls have been sent to Hell by the mercy of God than by His justice.  This is indeed the case; for men are induced by the deceits of the Devil to persevere in sin, through confidence in God's mercy; and thus they are lost.

God is merciful.  Who denies it?  But, great as His mercy is, how many does He every day send to Hell?  God is merciful, But He is also just, and is, therefore, obliged to punish those who offend Him.  And 'His mercy,' says the divine mother, extends 'to them that fear Him.' (Luke 1:50).  But with regard to those who abuse His mercy and despise Him, He exercises justice...

The Lord pardons sins, But He cannot pardon the determination to commit sin.  Saint Augustine says, that He who sins with the intention of repenting after his sins, is not a penitent but a scoffer.  Irrisor est non poenitens.  But the Apostle tells us that God will not be mocked.  'Be not deceived; God is not mocked.' (Gal 6:7).  It would be a mockery of God to insult Him as often and as much as you pleased, and afterwards to expect eternal glory." (Saint Alphonsus de Liguori, Sermons For All the Sundays in the Year).

Modernists love to accuse faithful Catholics of rigidity.  See here.  But the truth is real, not "rigid" as Father Gerald Murray explains.  See here.

Francis is a false prophet.  See here. And there is evidence of Sociopathy in his background.  See here.

Saint Patrick's revelation regarding Ireland

A few years back I wrote a post detailing a revelation which Saint Patrick was given about the faith diminishing in his native Ireland.  See here.

Revolution has come to Ireland.  The demon has brought darkness back to what was once one of the most Catholic of nations.  Now, homosexuality is being celebrated in the streets as the nation embraces same-sex "marriage" in its Constitution.  See here.

The darkness spreads as the serpent wages his war against the Church.

The Social "Gospel" spreads: Preparation for the Reign of Antichrist.

I've said it many times over the past twenty years, as we move toward one world government, the new humanitarian religion will become more and more aggressive. Catholicism, its greatest enemy, must be overcome at all cost. To this end, ecclesiastical masonry (see here and here) has inflitrated the Church.

Through one of the characters in his book The Lord of the World, Robert Hugh Benson describes this humanitarian religion which is to overcome the Catholic Church: "Humanitarianism...is becoming an actual religion itself, though anti-supernatural. It is a Pantheism. Pantheism deifies all nature, God is the world, but naturally, man above all is God since he is the highest expression of nature. It is a religion devoid of the 'super' natural, because since God is nature itself, there is no longer a distinction between Creator and creature. The creature is God and hence arbitrator of his own destiny and establishes the moral law for himself. Nature, and man is its highest expression, has all the divine attributes. Humanitarianism is a religion devoid of the supernatural. It is developing a ritual under Freemasonry; it has a creed, 'God is man'; and the rest. It has, therefore, a real food of a sort to offer religious cravings: it idealizes, and yet makes no demands upon the spiritual faculties. Then, they have the use of all the churches except ours, and of all the Cathedrals; and they are beginning at last to encourage sentiment. Then they may display their symbols and we may not..."

The new humanitarian religion, which is anti-supernatural, must absorb Christianity as it prepares for the entrance of the Man of Sin. Catholics who maintain a devotion to the Holy Eucharist and Our Lady must be first ostracized and later eliminated as incompatible with the New Order.

The Man of Sin will soon reveal himself.  There is preparation for this event.  There is a new television series entitled "666 Park Avenue."  Children are being tagged with RFID technology and soon the entire populace will be subjected to mandatory microchipping.  Here in the Worcester Diocese [Massachusetts], the Chancery is selling books written by New Age advocate/Pantheist and dissident Servite Sister Joyce Rupp who has publically denounced the Church's hierarchy while agitating for a change in Catholic teaching.

Seldom is a sermon heard in local parishes which deals with sin, heaven, hell or purgatory.  The justice which Christ came to establish for men is the interior justification which makes them children of God in grace.  And the kingdom which Christ came to establish is a spiritual kingdom  of interior holiness.  But  many (if not most) of our local clergy no longer preach the Gospel of Christ and have succumbed to what Dietrich von Hildebrand referred to as "this-worldliness" - a transfer of the center of gravity from eternity to this world.

Dr. Hildebrand writes, "The this-worldly tendency can be detected in various pastoral letters, and above all in countless sermons.  One speaks more about the fight against poverty and for social justice and world peace - in a word, more about improving the world - than about offending God by our sins, sanctifying the individual, about heaven and hell, eternity and the hope of eternal union with God in the beatific vision.  The this-worldly tendency emphasizes the earthly future more than eternity, and this is an unfortunate heritage of the evolutionism of [Pere] Teilhard de Chardin.  The sancitification of the individual soul and the eternal salvation of the individual is pushed aside to make room for the evolution of mankind on earth, for progress in what concerns man's earthly existence." (The Devastated Vineyard, pp. 128-129).

I witness this phenomenon on a regular basis at my parish.  The "pastor" there is more concerned with raising monies for Food for the Poor (a most worthy charity to be sure) than he is with saving souls.  During last Sunday's homily he told a story about a man sentenced to hell for only giving a quarter to the poor.  But never has this priest told a story about someone going to hell for having an abortion, for having contracepted, for engaging in fornication, adultery or sodomy.  It would seem that, for this priest, the only sin which merits hell is a failure to practice the corporal works of mercy.

Which is not to say, of course, that we will not be judged on such works.  Even a cursory read of Matthew 25 by even the most intellectually-challenged amongst us will quickly reveal the necessity of sharing the good things which God has provided us.  But, having succumbed to a false social "gospel," clerics who have fallen into this-worldliness fail to understand that temporal justice is not an essential message of the Gospel and, as Father Vincent Miceli reminded us, "...has nothing to do directly with God's economy of salvation as revealed in the life and teachings of Jesus.  Christ Himself stressed this truth when He urged His listeners to act as follows concerning their natural needs: 'Therefore I say to you, do not be anxious for your life...for your Father knows that you need all these things.  But seek first the Kingdom of God and his justice, and all these things shall be given you besides.'" (Essay entitled "St. Thomas, Justice and Marxism," citing Matthew 6: 25, 32-33).

As the false humanitarian "gospel," the "social gospel," continues to spread, we will witness more and more hostility toward supernatural faith and those who still have a sense of sin.

Prepare.  For soon persecution will overcome the Church for a time.  The day is fast-approaching when those who kill us will believe that they are serving God in truth.

The Apostasy Spreads

"At the same time, he [Robert Hugh Benson] also warns of a great danger for the Church which has to do with the 'great seduction' - the 'great prostitute' the Book of the Apocalypse calls it - that is, humanitarian religion.  Only the Church, reduced to a tiny flock will resist.  The Church will be tempted to follow the path of humanitarianism which would reduce Christianity to a form of humanism in which Christ is regarded merely as a man - although the greatest man ever born...At the same time, Benson foresaw that the tiny flock - of Paul VI - would resist the reduction of Christianity to humanitarian religion and that it would be branded a public enemy of the people and of progress.  It would be accused of being out of step with the times and of belonging to the Middle Ages.  Thus, Benson has prophesied [in his book The Lord of the World] both the seduction and the persecution of those who would uphold the supernatural dimension of Christianity." (Fr. Livio Fanzaga, Wrath of God: The Days of the Antichrist, p. 128).

Just prior to the Reign of Antichrist, Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser tells us that, "During this unhappy period there will be laxity in divine and human precepts. Discipline will suffer. The Holy Canons will be completely disregarded, and the clergy will not respect the law of the Church. Everyone will be carried away and led to believe and to do what he fancies, according to the manner of the flesh. They will ridicule Christian simplicity ; they will call it folly and nonsense, but they will have the highest regard for advanced knowledge...As a result no principle at all- however holy, authentic, ancient, and certain it may be, will remain free of censure, criticism, false interpretations, modifications, and delimitation by man.

These are evil times a century full of dangers and calamities. Heresy is everywhere, and the followers of heresy are in power, almost everywhere. Bishops, prelates, and priests say that they are doing their duty, that they are vigilant and that they live as befits their state of life. In like manner therefore they all seek excuses. But God will permit a great evil against His Church; Heretics and tyrants will come suddenly and unexpectedly; they will break into the Church while Bishops prelates and priests are asleep. They will enter Italy and lay Rome waste; they will burn down the churches and destroy everything."

The Reign of Antichrist will witness a celebration of sin and perversion the likes of which few can imagine. Pleasure is the new principle par excellence. If pleasure can justify homosexual behavior (and increasingly that is what our sin-sick society is saying), then other deviant forms of sexual activity which are viewed as pleasurable by some will also be logically justified. This will include pedophilia, pederasty, ephebophilia, gerontophilia, necrophilia, sadism, masochism and bestiality.

Marriage is being redefined everywhere. In Canada, where polygamy has been illegal since the nineteenth century, the Supreme Court in British Columbia is going to decide whether or not the law prohibiting polygamy is constitutional. The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches clearly that "polygamy is not in accord with the moral law" and that "Conjugal communion is radically contradicted by polygamy" (CCC, 2387). Which is exactly why some are anxious to legitimize it. "No principle, however holy..."

Father Pascal Huchede writes, "...how shall he [Antichrist] deprive the world of Christianity and have himself adored as God? Alas, it is only too true that the minds and hearts of men are admirably disposed for revolution and consequently ready to accept and bear the cruel yoke of such a tyrant..." And then, after noting that men will abandon the reasonable and supernatural religion of Jesus Christ to worship the demon, Fr. Huchede adds, "What frightful immorality must follow in the train of this shameless prostitution of religion! Never has the threefold concupiscence made greater ravage among mankind. And this is the religion sought and hoped for as the cherished boon of the aspirations of our modern free thinkers." (History of Antichrist, pp. 13-14).
