A witness.....

A couple of years ago, an attorney with an anti-Catholic agenda and mindset was running for District Attorney of the Middle District (Worcester, Massachusetts). At the time, I called for prayers to Our Lady of La Salette that this attorney would be defeated. This was the result of the election: http://www.conte2006.com/danshea.htm
Note the date of this election. Coincidence? You be the judge.

This is a testament to the power of prayer. By ourselves, we can do nothing. Jesus has said it. But we can do all things in Him who strengthens us (Phil 4:13) and Who grants us many graces through the hands of His Immaculate Mother.

When will we stop trusting in ourselves, in our own gifts and abilities, and place our trust where it belongs: in the hands of Jesus and Mary?

There are many dark forces which are resisting a fifth marian dogma which would solemnly define Our Lady as Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix and Advocate. This because Our Lady will then be able to act with much greater freedom and power to crush the head of the Evil One and his followers.

I came across your wonderful blog while surfing the web. And what you say is entirely true. We need to have recourse to our Heavenly Mother for all of our needs. There is real power in prayer. Thanks for sharing your testimony. God bless you.

I thank the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of La Salette for this tremendous victory over anti-Catholic forces which were railing against the Church and attempting to gain political power in Central Mass. What a cause for joy! The spiritual battle continues in Massachusetts and across the nation. We must all band together in prayer, fasting and witness to overcome the wiles of Satan and the other evil spirits.

You are in my prayers Mr. Melanson.

Explosive witness to the intercessory power of Notre Dame de La Salette. And something to keep in mind as we approach the presidential elections of 2008. Our prayer group is praying for this. And now we will be praying for the success of your Catholic Blog as well. Pax Christi - Leon.

With prayer all things are possible. I think we're too far gone in the United States to accomplish anything by action alone. Cardinal O'Connor once said that only prayer and fasting would drive out the demonic abortion agenda. But isn't that what Jesus said? That some evil spirits can only be driven out through prayer and fasting?.....Let's form a prayer chain then.

Those articles on attorney daniel shea were very informative. Transgender movement? Referring to the Church as a "criminal institution"? I cringe when I think what his agenda would have been if he had been elected.
