Whoever says, 'I know him,' but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps his word, the love of God is truly perfected in him." (1 John 2:1-5).
"Whoever says he is in the light, yet hates his brother, is still in the darkness. Whoever loves his brother remains in the light, and there is nothing in him to cause a fall. Whoever hates his brother is in darkness and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes." (1 John 2:9-11).

I love that passage from Scripture Paul. Indeed, how can we say we love God when we hate our neighbor.
I know you have been criticized for speaking truth and defending the Church's perennial teaching. But when we really love someone, we want what is best for them.
If I saw another Catholic driving their car at a high rate of speed and heading right towards a cliff, I would want to warn that person out of love.
Likewise, if another Catholic is rushing toward the cliff of destruction which results from sin, I would also want to warn that person.
Wouldn't that be my duty? Of course it would.
Why is it that so many Catholics cannot - will not - accept that?
