"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
- Proverbs 22:6
Which one of you parents would hand your child a pack of camel cigarettes before sending them off to school? Or a bottle of Jack Daniels? Why then allow them to be indoctrinated in the perverse homosexual "lifestyle"? Is this what you want for your children?
And of course, what is far more important to consider is the supernatural life of grace in your children's souls. It is your responsibility as parents to do everything in your power to cultivate and protect this life of grace. And you will be judged by the Lord Jesus as to whether or not you were faithful to this responsibility.

You are right it is every parent's duty to do all they can to shield their children from such filth. BUT - we must also teach them to defend themselves against evil. I have found through experience that a parent in these times must walk a fine line between protection and teaching. We cannot shield them from exposure to all evil. They will grow up and be on their own. We must teach them right from wrong, give them weapons (devotion, prayer, rosary, confession, etc) and most importantly pray for them. I liken my children growing up and leaving home as sending them like lambs to go among wolves. This is terrifying - but ultimately it is up to them! The degree to which our children are converted interiorly lies in their heart - between their soul and God.
I think I'll have some masses said for my children.
Of course Sanctus. As God's Holy Word clearly teaches, "Train up a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Well said.
Most parents are fed up [I know this is the case in the Bay State], with having the radical homosexual agenda shoved down their throats.
I was watching this school official from Lexington saying that the homosexual "Day of Silence" is protected by the First Amendment. How nice. Will the school also be acknowledging the First Amendment rights of students who wish to have a prayer hour of reparation to include readings from the Bible?
What do you think?
The public schools have no problem with homosexual students promoting their own religion of secular humanism. It's only Christianity they have a problem with. So much for "inclusion."
